Has anyone done this offer? I am a little confused by it. I did not see any number to cancel with. Or is it done online? Is it a free trial? It says something about buying $20 worth to get the $5.00. I guess my brain is not working properly, because I am not understanding this offer....:confused:
I want to up my SR account. If anyone can help, PLEASE respond! Thanks!

All I know is that they are suppose to send you an e-mail in 3 to 7 days with the details about how to get the giftcard. I only signed up yesterday so I have not seen that yet. I am still waiting for credit.
 
I signed up too. How long is the trial for? I am losing my brain because I cant keep the offers straight....

I think that as long as you don't spend your free $5.00 it does not matter. They do charge a monthly fee of $.98. I was just waiting until I got credit and the resturant certificate. I wrote in my notes 10 days just so I would not overlook the offer. I have the terms copied down but I left them at work.
 
If you cancel before you use your free $5 you get your $20 back. You cancel by e-mailing customerservice@pingo.com.

I was just told in an email today that they can no longer cancel via email. I've been trying to get them to cancel that way since I signed up in Feb. and they always say no, I need to call. :sad2: I guess I'm out $10 because I refuse to call to cancel, I'd probably lose my temper with them at this point.
 
How strange, that is how they say to cancel in their terms and conditions. Has anyone gotten credit for this one????????
 
sammie - when did you sign up? I signed up yesterday and no credit yet. I thought maybe it would credit by Monday. Hoping most who have done this one has gotten their credits. I hope this is not another one of those stressful offers :confused: :confused:

This is one of those offers where they actually take back the credits when people cancel. I know that I have seen a couple come back where they deducted the credits from my account. Not a lot of companies do that, but some do (that's why we have to include it in our terms).

Two of these came through but have not posted yet (I can see the sales but not the id numbers yet). I'll see if I can't get them by the end of the day today.

Nope no credit yet. And I can't for the life of me figure out how to use this service. Thought if I made a call they might credit.
What really bothers me is that we would lose the credit if we cancel. What's up with that.
I'm at least going to hold out for the $25 restaurant card and then cancel.
 
I just went ahead and tried to cancel already. I actually thought about keeping it and trying it. However, DH does not like the idea. I sent them an email explaining that I would like to cancel. The emailed me back with the info that I needed to send them in order for me to cancel. I emailed them back with that info last night. Still waiting for a reply.

I am okay about not getting credit, as long as my CC gets credit back. You win some, you lose some....

I also have credit today. Just within the last hour. I have tried to cancel via email and they still have not responded yet. I got the restaurant coupon through email also, and there is NOTHING around my area. Nothing within 30 miles. That stinks.

do you remember who the e-mail was from?? Was it in your in box or spam folder? I have not seen anything yet.
 
It was in my box. But to be honest I am so computer stupid that I do not know if I have a spam box! Please, try not to roll your eyes.....

Thanks for the information. Looks like it is mainly local vs. chair resturants. You may want to delete the certificat number, so someone will not use it.
