SR - GC question

I noticed that some of the merchants on the SR shopping list specifically say that they will also give credit for gift card purchases (like Disney). Does that mean that the ones who don't mention it DON'T????

Has anyone ordered gift cards from any other merchants and gotten credit?
(I'm specifically interested in Target,ToysRUs, Barnes and Noble, and PetSmart).

I have not ordered gift cards from anyone but DS, but I am under the impression you would not get credit for them unless they say.
