Day 12 Friday 23rd December
Today we had a bit of a lie in. I woke up at 8am. I didnt have a very good nights sleep last night as I think I was too full from dinner.
Anyways troops were waking up and we had breakfast in room. Jimmy Dean Sausage, Egg and Cheese muffins, followed by peanut butter on toast. With a nice cold glass of milk.
Thought we would have a look at Festival Bay today.
Dave and Bev told us about a shop up there and DH wanted to check it out.
Another clear blue sky day was ahead.
It is indeed a gorgeous day, a lovely warm winters day!
Drove to Festival Bay
DH came out of the shop with a big bag full of clothing and it only cost $34 so he was really happy!
Next we had a walk down to Vans Skate Park.
Then DD spotted Hot Topic
She had a look in there I sat outside and waited patiently. She came out of there not asking for anything.
A stop off to look in Ron Jon and we were on our way.
We then had to go to Super Target, as I had been informed that DD & DH needed to get me something for my birthday. I went off to look around; I got myself some slippers and a nighty some moisturiser and shower gel stuff.
We came back to the resort to pick up some quick and casual meal vouchers and a look on the net to see where else we could use them. We decided on Pepper Market at Coronado Springs resort.
I did not like it when we stayed here in 2003 but am willing to give it another go.
Plus saying as it was a nice night we thought wed have a game of mini golf, this time Winter Summerland.
Arrived at Pepper Market
We were seated straight away. With our Q&C meal vouchers we could have anything off the menu, plus a drink (non alcoholic) and desert, which was one of the following, muffin, yoghurt, cookie or a rice cake, there might have been more but I cant remember them.
DH chose the rib eye steak with fries and vegetables.
DD and I both went for the chicken fajitas.
DH steak took a while to cook, longer than our fajitas and we were almost finished ours when he eventually got his! DD and I both said the fajitas were very dry and they lacked some taste. DH on the other hand thoroughly enjoyed his steak, he said it was really nice. He would come back to eat here. If we did go back I would have the steak too.
