Day 11 Thursday 22nd December
This morning was check out day.
We had enjoyed our stay at POFQ but like the hotel before we found the beds a bit on the small side.
Apart from that and not getting to use the pool there were no problems.
We had express check out which means everything that we charged to the room was just charged to the credit card that we put on file. Our bill was $27.15
Everything was packed in the car and we got our last fill of coffee, hot chocolate and coke! We were on our way to check in to Cypress Pointe.
It was only a short drive and we were there in a few minutes. I didnt think they would have a room ready for us but was surprised when she said it was.
The room was on the 2nd floor. I was sick of carrying the cases up so asked if there was one on the ground floor. There was. We were in luck. We were given room 8107A. On the way out I was told to pick up a welcome pack from the desk across from check in. I was asked if I wanted to attend a timeshare presentation to which I said no thank you. The offer was $150 and a free buffet breakfast. I told them no thank you again and I went on my way to find the room.
When we got to the room it was just across the way from where we stayed last year. The room was nice and clean just the same as last year, lovely.

I had a few loads of washing to do so got on with that ASAP. We had no plans to go anywhere today.
DD went to watch the TV and there was a fuzzy picture. DH tried to do something with it and there was nothing. On the phone to maintenance and they said that they would send someone out, we did not need to be in.
DH then rang to ask about the internet connection, to which he was told to take the laptop up to the front desk and they would show him.
While he was there the maintenance man came and found there was a loose connection in the back of the TV, he would be back in a few moments with a new cable.
DH came back with laptop and said it would work, $19.95 for a weeks connection. Plugged the laptop in, nothing happened, no internet. It took the internet people and DH about 1 hour to get the connection going. We had to use a cable instead of the wireless card that we had.
We had internet, a quick look everywhere and a conversation with family back home and it was time to go to Wal-Mart for some shopping.
We only spent $40 on food as we shopped for a couple of days. Had to get some of these:-
We had to get back as we were eating at Rain Forest Cafe and meeting Dave theFatman and family for dinner at 7pm.
