During a recent sailing on the Disney Wish, we found ourselves behind a sharply dressed couple checking in for dinner at Enchanté (the newer counterpart to Remy on the older ships). Their outfits were impressively coordinated—right down to the husband’s tailored shorts, which matched his partner’s ensemble with almost theatrical precision

.
As they approached the hostess stand, the hostess kindly reviewed the dress code and offered to hold their reservation so the husband could change into long pants. The wife responded that he didn’t have any, prompting the hostess to offer a loaner pair and even asked for his size. The wife then explained that a concierge cast member had assured her that shorts would be acceptable. The hostess, clearly flustered but professional, apologized sincerely and asked for the cast member’s name to help ensure accurate guidance in the future.
Later that evening, after our own dinner at Palo, we spotted the same couple strolling the ship with their kids—husband still wearing the same outfit. Safe to say, they likely enjoyed a lovely (and much noisier) dinner in the MDR instead

.
FYI: The day before your Enchanté or Palo reservation, you will receive a message in the
DCL app outlining the dress code in detail.
