well we did narrow it down to about 6 designs last night, did the pros and cons of each of them...still waiting on the land though, we are planning on looking again this weekend, my dad found a subdivision that says it has lots starting at 8 grand which is very very very cheap around here. normally you are between 30 for county and 70 for city.

That price sounds great. Make sure you check out the location though. Lots of things to consider: any inclines for steep mowing, icy driveways etc., how will the water runoff be, where will the afternoon sun be? On and on.

Chapter 10-2. Ceremony time

Here is the long entry way that led to our room at the hall.

it was very nice we had our own private wedding party room where we had someone to get us drinks. and we had a room set up for people to go to and get appetizers before they let them in to the hall to start drinking.

for the ladies out there, here are candis flowers.

and here is our cake with a mickey and minnie wedding topper, we had them leave it on the table so it would not get nasty with cake on it.

here is the one side of the staircase that the wedding party came in when we were announced.

the guys one one side and the girls on the other.

waiting for my lovely bride to come down and greet me.

and together.

then it was over to the cake table to cut it.

now a little back story, it has always been a running thing in our family, my dad got my mom so good there was cake all the way up her nose. we said we were not going to do that to each other...well candi gets her cake and starts to smile at me with a little mystery grin...(my dad had told her to get me good) i sensed it was coming and was ready.

in the end it was not that bad, i did not want to get her anymore cause i did not want to mess up her makup or get her mad.

here is our head table.

then during the speechs a funny thing happened.
my sister started hers, and she began crying almost right away, so we are laughing at her for that.

then she starts to tell a story about when candi first met my parents and she was nervous. well she told my sister it was because she thought my dad was cute when she first met him. she was so imbarrased, the whole room laughed for easily a minute straight.

then i was laughing so hard i started to cry.

dinner was good, and it was time for dancing, i will show you one dancing pick now taken from the stairs and then get the rest next time.

More fun wedding pics, and have fun with the land hunting! Does your builder have model homes? DDIL and I had alot of fun going through the model homes in their neighborhood when we were there in Jan.

well the land hunt was a bust this weekend. the cheap lot was cheap for a reason, for some reason the ding dong had the lots split up so small that you have to buy 2 or 3 of them to make a full lot so really his price listed is not the actual price. and the location looks like dirty gym locker that has not been cleaned in 50 years and dont get me started on the neighbors there.

so more hunting will continue.

we have been through some models and liked em and are using those to pick a floor plan since the materials are pretty much the same in all of them just different layouts.

the hall is really pretty, the one whol side has floor to ceiling windows that overlook the garden area and gazebo.

thanks, she did look awesome so pretty, she is hopping to wear that dress again whenever we runew our vows.

Well, oblivious to the double digits come and going, i noticed today on glennbos thread that he was in double digits...that got me thinking, hey wait a minute, we are meeting him in disney when we are halfway through our trip.

So that must mean i get there first which means i have already entered my double digits .


I am calculating our trip as to when we leave not when we get to disney, so we leave in not 99 days not 95 days not 90 but


87 days we leave for disney

and the only thing better in a 99 day (double digit dance)
is the opps, i missed my double digit dance but in not realizing it, i have knocked off 13 days of the double digits and am that must closer dance.


so join with me if you will in a little dance of fauntleroys flunders.
