Squirts, Shirts, and Flirts, The Legend Continues 2 weeks in FW(wrap up #2 new 11-17)

Yeah I got to read two updates! We stayed in FW in Nov/Dec 2010 and loved it! We rented an RV and will be doing that again for sure!

I see grandma started to feel better.

Next time we're hitting BB!

The train on the ceiling is in Once Upon a Toy shop. (99% sure) NOw, back to read some more.
that sounds right i faintly remember seeing there on a visit now.
:thumbsup2
Parker had quite a full morning!! WOW!

Question: Did your parents drive themselves to DTD, AK and all that?? Taking busses would have taken FOREVER!!!

Glad you and Candi had such a nice time, just the two of you! Getting those alone times after kids come can be tough!:thumbsup2
yep dad drove the truck all around, much quicker for what they wanted to do that morning...and with my mom not feeling the greatest it worked out best for them.

luckily the grandparents and family around us really enjoy taking parker (and the new baby when it gets here) so we can do stuff like that.

I lucked out and posted my latest chapter an hour before yours! :p
darn it, thats what i get for leaving it up on my screen and doing something else then coming back to post it.
:sad2:
See, you're exhibiting the perfect form here. I had bad form at Humunga Kowabunga and paid the price. I won't forget again.
good thing you were done with kids then.

Did you just dis your mom?

You should have come up with something like....the store was called "Build a Marv".
yep i did, we enjoy friendly jabs with family members, it makes getting together for holidays alot of fun.
::yes::

build a marv, i have nothing good to come back on that one.

I'm not sure if I've ever been in it, but my guess would be "Once Upon a Toy".

Man, that guy likes his Mickey bars!
thanks, for concuring it.
:thumbsup2

i concur. ::yes::

You MUST cross at the ankles,. If you don't the results are painful, especially for guys.
thanks for the concur....pirate:

are the results as painful for a girl, or just the result of even more of a wedgie than most of there suits already are.

Sounds like you and Candi had fun time at BB

Like the pic of you and Candi in water :goodvibes

Looks like Parker was having fun with your parents

I see everyone has already said it, but yep, once upon a toy is the store that has train on ceiling
parker had a good time, but when he saw me get him outside the gate he was really excited as water parks are one of his favorite things to do.

we enjoy the alone time in disney, but love it when the little man is there as well...it is juts a different feeling when you are there on your own.

thanks for the concur....pirate:

I don't touch summitt Plummitt witha 120 foot pole!!! :scared1::scared1:

Nah Just kidding- I like it, but I can ony do it once or twice.:) Maybe three if I space it out.

Since I do not have first hand knowledge of the guy pain let's just say it can be a very cleansing experience. and not in a good way.

Usually what I get is slapped around. The water spray hitting my legs is like being beaten with a spatula. If you are not careful the wedgie can be killer.

My secret to surviviing it is to corss the ankles and dig the bottom heel down to sort of part the water at your feet. That lessens the cleansing effect further up.
Then I cross my arms but arch my back and try to press my shoulder blades together to create a flat surface for my upper body to "ride" on.

Once upon a toy!!! I remember seeing the train there when we did the "build your own light saber".

Love the pics with Parker having fun with the grandparents! Too sweet.
those build your own light sabers were pretty cool, wonder if parker will ever get into those.
:rolleyes1

Glad you and Candi could have a fun day on your own. I can only DREAM of a day in WDW like that. :rotfl:

We may have to try BB on our next trip. We really like TL but we did it last time. DH and I did BB back in 1996 but DS has never been there, so I guess we should show it to him.
it was fun, reminded us of touring the world solo, but we still enjoy it more with parker with us.

i think he will really like the kid areas ast BB better, the area for the older kids is even really cool.

Thanks for not calling me out for not working on my TR! We are going to have to hit one of the water parks one time! Thanks for the pics of TRex, never saw the inside of it before.
i only singled out the ones i knew would not have there feelings hurt to much as they get it every day for not getting an update in.

i hope to eat there next trip, but we will see how that goes.

Thanks for posting. I'm starting to feel like a tr stalker (heading over with morning coffee in hand each day to see if my favorite writers have posted)!

Good update, keep em coming! I still have 4 and a half months til my Disney trip and I'm totally jonesin' for some mouse.
well hope you enjoyed the two updates last week i had up for you...not sure if i can get another one up before your breakfast tradition tomorrow morning but we will see what i can do.

r u going to do a TR of your trip?

I think your dad is a very smart man! I love it. I can totally see Eric doing that as an adult...stockpiling the Mickey Bars.

Fun morning for all
i like those mickey bars, but i really like the sandwhich ones,

Great update, Dan. We like Tyhoon Lagoon better ourselves...a little calmer for us "old folks". But it looks as if you and Candi had a great time anyway.

Parker sure looks like he had fun. And I remember you telling me that your dad brought those Mickey bars home with him; I was real close to taking a 6 hour drive to steal one:rotfl2:
TL has its ups, but like you said is a little calmer, so it is a good relax day at the water park.

your 6 hours away? i thought you were closer to me than that...how far are you from chicago?

Great update Dan! And I like the subtle hints about those slow TR updaters...those who shall not be named.

Looks like you and Candi had a blast together, a blizzard blast that is. Get it? Blizzard? Love the cute picture of you guys in the water and tube too.
:sad2: it was a nice try, did marv give you that line?

;)
Ok, no way in heck would DH EVER convince me to ride Summit Plummet! No way. It looks extremely dangerous and frankly, you look terrified! You were obvioulsy so scared that you were apparently choking yourself with your arms and crossing your feet in shock! See, dangerous. You must be a daredevil or something.;)
it actually isnt bad, i have ridden it many many times, and it gets easier each time...i dont even get nervous anymore.

a real daredevil would go down with legs spread apart and take the full bront of the water attack.

Oh, look how sweet Parker is with your parents! I love the pictures of him eating your dad's Mickey bar. What a smart fellow too, thinking ahead and saving those snack credits for Mickey bars at home! Genius! Mickey bars rule!!
parker knows how to work his cuteness to get the treats that little stinker, has grandpa wrapped around his finger.
:thumbsup2

Another chicken here! Nope never been on Summit Plummit. I have concidered tho...then I looked at again. nope. not happening. I like my swimsuit sitting right wear I put it:rolleyes1

I agree the TL being better except when you have a short child with you who loves big water slides. BB has more options for the under 48in child.
it isnt bad, and if you ever want to ride one, i say just try it, i think you will like it, and hte view from up there is amazing.

and the TL water area for kids seems really dangerous to me, alot of hard areas that the kids can fall in and hurt themselves, it is also slippery in alot of spots.

I've been away on vacation for over a week and seems I've missed a couple of things!!!

HAPPY BE-LATED BIRTHDAY TO PARKER!!!!!

It was nice to see two updates waiting for me.
hope you had a good vacation, im trying to finish the TR up in the next month, so it wont be a year sense i started it.
:woohoo: So THIS is where Dan got his idea for his contest..... :rolleyes1
You actually WON name names????
There's ANOTHER ONE on here???? :confused3
:sad2:

Looks like a really cool restaurant with the theming. Guess we need to try this one out sometime!
Agree, not sure what he could use those arms for. They aren't even long enough to reach his mouth to feed himself.....
and he cant even really hold his food down with it and eat, his head is so big, and you can forget about using them to scratch his butt.

 Oh you did NOT just go THERE!!!
A wise, wise man!!! :yoda: Now how can I pull this off next trip???
Loving this one!
Too valuable! Nobody would be able to afford shopping in that one!!!
i said i was just joking.

and the store would be to big to fit your ever growing head.

:rotfl2:I'd try an ear maybe !!!!:rotfl2:

Dan, a very Happy Easter to you, Candi, Parker and the rest of your family!!!!

Happy Easter!!!!!
thank you guys, hope you had a great easter as well, we had a good time with family...and the weather was somewhat decent.

i have never been there that late in the year to stay at FW i bet it was fun, latest i have stayed at the fort is october.

grandma is doing well, she is back up here now and looks good.

I don't touch summitt Plummitt witha 120 foot pole!!! :scared1::scared1:

Nah Just kidding- I like it, but I can ony do it once or twice.:) Maybe three if I space it out.

i was gonna say isnt it a rule you have to like all water slides in your proffesion.

hmm cleansing huh.:rolleyes1:laughing:

i go with the crossed approach, but when i get toward the bottom, i always plug the nose with one hand, as water never fails to hit the nostrils at about 100 mph and flys up into my brain.

i will try the pushing hte heels down next time and see if that helps.

I know what we are having! Anyone want to know.

:rolleyes1

I have a certain number in mind and if i get that many people to tell me that they want to know, then i will announce it...if i dont get that number then, we might just have to play a game of guess the baby gender.

O.K., well, that's just mean.

I'm coming out of lurkdom to start the ball rolling -- yes, we want to know!

OF COURSE I WANT TO KNOW, silly boy!

That is truly pathetic that you're resorting to black mail...

But I"ll happily play along! :lmao:

I'll be #2 that wants to know. :rolleyes1

What a silly question! Of course I want to know, you big meanie!;) Add me to the count please. And I think that if your secret number isn't met, you should just pm those of us who played along. It's only fair.:

Of course we want to know! Come on, I have to live this experience through you for now! I am guessing girl though.
