Squirts, Shirts, and Flirts, The Legend Continues 2 weeks in FW(wrap up #2 new 11-17)

well marv, you win this impromtu round, because i showed all the birthday posts to parker, and he said he liked your bouncy guys the best.
:laughing::thumbsup2
 :woohoo:

Hope Parker had a wonderful birthday!

Great update Dan! I can't believe that jogging picture didn't turn out! And I'm guessing Glenn will add that picture of Candi to the rest of his family shots from the last update since she is sporting that same "sun in the eyes" pained expression!!! :rotfl2:

Well you were obviously really booking....that's why your jogging picture turned out blurry.

Candi could have posed with us in Japan in Epcot, with her squinty picture!

First, happy belated birthday to Parker!

Second, WILDERNESS LODGE!! My absolute favorite hotel (so far). I stayed there in 2009 and fell in love with it. I didn't want to leave & we were leaving for a cruise, not home! So beautiful. And those ducks NEVER want to leave the pool. They're in there all day long.

see i knew you were wanting and update so i posted it right before you asked me for it.

I had NO IDEA you were such a good mind reader!! I guess that was one of your "selling points" when you were woo'ing Candi??

:lmao:

and answer to number 3, is we find out in about 2 weeks if it is a boy or a girl.

OK, fine - I guess I can wait....but Im not a very patient person...

*sigh*..

Hang on, let me get this straight...you went jogging on vacation? Oh boy, you and Candi are dedicated. I always reason that we're walking plenty enough so why bother exercising too? Um, ya I'm not sure I believe your explanation of her look either. She seems a little bit peeved with you.

This is a beautiful shot;). Were you going for the Monet effect here? Just kidding!

Aw, that squinty pic of Candi is very cute! She looks so young!:thumbsup2 Love how she employed the coffee shield too! Clever girl.

What a sweet little time you had together though! I think it's very nice that you were able to escape with just the two of you for a quick run and some coffee.:thumbsup2

We've never done BB. I don't know why.:confused3 We love water parks too so it really doesn't make any sense, right? How fun that you were able to have three hours to ride whatever you guys wanted there! Your parents sound fabulous! Think I can hire them to watch my kids??

Glad to hear that Parker had a great birthday! Enjoy it, those young years fly all too quickly:sad1:

WHat a lovely morning you had, Dan!! Truly peaceful and slow. I do love the early mornings when there's only a handful of folks out, the air is cool, sidewalks clean, and all that. I was right there with ya- thanks for the tour!

I hope you and Candi got lots of "big" rides done on your morning just the two of you. :thumbsup2

Great update. It looked like a very peaceful run with no one around. I wish I could be that dedicated, I'm not a late sleeper, but I'm not a early riser either!
I like the pics of the ducks in the pool.
Happy Belated Birthday to Parker! :)

Nice update, Dan. It looks so peaceful on the route you and Candi ran. I'm with you...I'd be on the lookout for those alligators too...you just never know. :scared1:

Love that you guys had the boat all to yourself and that your parents let you and Candi go off to BB on your own for awhile.

And yes you are a little far behind on updates (even Marv got one up this weekend!).
it was a very nice run, and we repeated it later in the week.

it was a nice morning with some fun at BB coming up....well now tht marv and i did an update, i guess it is glenns turn.
:thumbsup2

Looks like I missed an update earlier... I'll be back to read it better in a while.

oh it wont get any better when you read it later, might even be worse reading.
Looked like a very peaceful run

How long did it take you to get to WL Lobby? Curious

Love that resort. So pretty

How cool you got to go to BB childless for a few hrs :thumbsup2
umm i wanna say about 15 minutes maybe, it is over a mile i know for sure the trail, not sur of the total distance from the camper to the lobby.

What a great update! I wish I could get my hubby up that early to do something like walk around. What a perfect morning!

well we were used to getting up that early at home anyway so it wasnt that bad. i cant wait for the next trip to get up early and walk around the resort as well.

A nice peaceful run from FW to WL. I am glad you guys get to take off on your own for a while
and im sure you were loving those ducks in the pool, do there droppings float or sink?
:confused3

well when you run as fast as we do, it is bound to be blurry.

that would be funny to photoshop her in next to them with a blurry pic.

we did have a great time at BB, it is fun to get away every now and then even on vacation for some quite time.

well normally we wouldnt, but didnt seem like we got the heart rate going much while walking around, so wanted to get that working for us, now lets see how much exercise i get while in hawaii.
:rolleyes1

it is a good time to do that, i always enjoyed my early morning trips to the food courts on other trips, to get the mugs filled up....very peaceful walking around then.

we did get lots of big rides done.
:thumbsup2

Happy Belated Birthday to Parker! :)
even during the day i dont think that trail is that crowded, so it might even still be nice later in the day.

i like that hotel as well, but cant see plunking down that amount of money for anight.

did you see little duck droppings in the pool

It's actually the least expensive of the deluxe resorts along with AKL. I was lucky enough to get a TA deal!

No droppings! :rotfl:

great minds think alike glenn, you and marv were on the same brain length with the pic.

My DIS-time is limited lately, so I hadn't seen all the banter and missed that Marv had said that. But it makes sense that he did!

that would be funny to photoshop her in next to them with a blurry pic.

That would be funny! Maybe someday I'll get some time to do that.

i know it is one of the cheaper Deluxe, but i still even hate paying the moderate price.
but do enjoy the moderate hotels.
:thumbsup2

i bet that TA discount is nice to have.

might have to tell candi to get a job doing that.
:rolleyes1

Time to do stuff:confused3who has that!!!????:rotfl2:
wellmaybe if you cut out some of your pole dancing you would have time for other stuff.

There it is!!! Some things are so predictable......
Wellllllllll............maybe a Junior Mint!!! :lmao:
mmm junior mints one of my favorites.

i have to lead with, a disclosure, i have no idea wha the correct total is, remember i can not spell and alot of words i type i think they are correct...so your number may or may not be correct...but i will go back and check to see how many i come up with and if anyone wants to dispute what i find then they may. this is not a dictatorship like marv and glenns games where there vote is the only vote.
:thumbsup2

heck you could have said 15 and i would have counted it, i dont even know the total of misspelled words.
(yet that is);)

:rotfl2: This reminds me of my cousin, a teacher. He has a terrible time with spelling, so at the beginning of his first year of teaching - 5th grade, he wrote some stuff on the board, and when some of the kids snickered, he said
"extra points if you can tell me which words are misspelled!" :worship:

I'm glad Parker had a great birthday! Like Lessa said, it seems like just yesterday we were waiting for his arrival. Now we can start waiting for the next little Fauntleroy. Are you going to spill the beans this time?

Nice morning walk/run! Everything looks so peaceful - even the ducks make it a little more special. I am dying to be someplace warm - not too hopeful about our upcoming trip, even. No need to get too far ahead while I'm gone:rolleyes1

WOW WOW OH WOW! What a TR! I have been reading every minute I could since Saturday took me until right now (Tues at 8pm) to catch up! Of course I had a few other responsibilites in that time also! Thanks for sharing your story with DIS. Many ups and a few downs!

Love Parker! My children have read along with me and my 15 year old son has thought your Parker is too cute....he said he might name his son (many many years from now!) Parker as well. My daughter cried when she read his name as we had a speical furry family member named Parker who past a few years ago. Any way your Parker is very sweet! And you and your Candi are so thoughtful! The world needs more folks like you!

Your TR has given me some good ideas for our next trip, one of which I was thinking of staying at WL, partly because we love the theme but also because of the ability to jog to the campgrounds. I also would love to go to the sing-a-long, anybody can go? Even if you aren't staying at the campgrounds?

I could go on but I'd rather hear what else you have to say! Thanks looking forward to more!

if i were a teacher man think of the bonus points i would be giving out...

very smart on his part and quick thinking.

:welcome: thanks for taking the time to read it all...it is fun to tell the story and continue the trip a little longer when you get home, or in our caes close to ayear after we get home.

thank you, you dont hear of to many parker names out there. i like that your kids enjoy the name.

and thanks for the kind words about us, it is appreciated.

feel free to ask any questions you think of, ill try my best to answer.

if you get tired of the trail, between the two, you could always ride the boat over and run through the campground it is very large, and has sidewalks everywhere through the whole thing.

yep the sing along is open to anyone, i believe the times that it starts vary with the season, as it is always close to dusk since it needs to be dark for the movie, but just check before you go for atime, and i also believe that the campground section of the forums, has a list each month of what movies are playing each day so you can pick on you like.

and feel free to keep commenting along and asking questions.

:thumbsup2

:confused3

I believe they sink. Or just dissapate. Depending on consistency. Ok too much ???:lmao:

I arrived at WL once and watched the duck "dive bomb" the pool. The guards got everyone out. I just had to laugh since I did not have to deal with it.
