Happy Birthday to Parker! It feels like it was not so long ago that we were all "betting" on when he would be born and how much he would weigh etc. How time flies!

and to think i tried to spell right, the total would have been much higher if i didnt try.
i wonder if any have actually charged the car before, i bet they would not be there for long if they did, disney doesnt want a tempered animal on the loose out there.
absolutely not, they are awesome collector items, and would look great in a display.
I was wondering the same, if those rhinos have ever charged in the past! But I guess your logic is correct, Disney wants their animals tame.
I think they're pretty darn cool! Might have to drop some hints for DH at Christmas time to make sure they make their way into my stocking.

if you get to the water parks when they open or for the EMH then you are good for the first 3 hours or so, they dont seem to get to busy until about 12:00.
if you get there early you can get on everything at least once and then when it is busier just hit the stuff you want to again or hang in the lazy river or wave pool. we like BB better than TL but the snorkling is great at TL and the wave pool is ten times better there.
im hoping to hit it twice on the next trip, i love all the food there.
ohh yeah i made everyone wait to take some while i took a pic, then we took that desert down, everyone loved it.
Actually I believe I remember from our long, long ago tripthat we weren't able to use our TIW discount on adult beverages at Yak & Yeti because it is owned by another restaurant group, and is actually NOT a Disney restaurant. If I ever get around to posting that chapter update I will probably verify and mention it.......
hmm makes sense, chances of you posting that update anytime soon is slim to none.
i know, seems like yesterday, but this pregnancy is taking for ever...she is only just past 5 months but seems like she has been pregnant forever.

hope you were safe with the storms there were alot of bad ones out there this last week.Finally back at my desk to "work". Today's storms had me "distracted" all morning.

I was SEVERAL updates behind, but am happy to report that Im all caught up.
AK looked fun but hot. Which is pretty well how it was when we were there.
Glad to hear the truck and the rhino managed to avoid one another from the looks of that feller, I dont know which would have been the worse for wear.

Chapter 37. A Peaceful Morning in Disney.
The Lesson Learned in this chapter is:
take your time at disney and if you can handle it, wake up early, and see some sites while it is still peaceful out and you are not trying to get in the hustle and bustle of the busy park touring day ahead.
The vacation was long so far, over a week and we were getting tired from the park days and the heat, but that did not stop us from getting up early on this morning.
Candi and I were both awake about 6:45 and ready to start our day. Which we did, we threw on our running clothes and hit the blacktop.
Now I am not sure if this look is a look of its still early, im in the quite zone, or if it is a look of i cant believe you are making me run before 7, or what, but i dont think that is it, because she is the one who actually was awake before me and said lets get up....but here is a little video of a stroll down our camp loop before we get to the sidewalk for our run.
candi was carrying a small hand towel for me, as i sweat pretty good when i run, and did not want to gross our our final destination fellows.
we ran the sidewalk through the campground to the fitness trail which runs from the petting farm at the campground to the WL
i tried to take a picture while i was running but it turned out blurry.
it is a very peaceful run, but you are always looking off to the sides, it just feels like a alligator could run out at you at any time. not sure they attack like that, but i was looking around for em.
this is the turn around at the WL end.
and here is the other direction toward the WL
still did not run across anyone while walking past the bus stops and up to the hotel entrance.
the front desk workers were out in the lobby but the rest was empty.
we turned toward the ramp that heads to roaring forks, and finally saw someone at the other end.
we got a muffin to split and a coffee for candi with some snack credits.
and found a nice quite spot out on the pool area to eat.
i think someone smelled our muffin and wanted to have a bite.
i wanted candi to pose for a picture with the lodge behind her and she could not get a smile with her eyes open with the sun behind me.
so she used the coffee shield to make it happen.
instead of walking or running back we opted for the leasurly ride on the boat back to our campground. which lead us down by the pool to get there.
on the way we found a few feathered friends lounging in the pool.
i wonder if they have any 30 minute unscheduled cleanings after they gone using the pool.
once on the boat, we found that we were the only ones on the resort route which takes you from WL, to contemporary, to FW. our first stop was contemporary, no one got on there, . it was very quite and nice to just listen to the water crash on the side of the boat as you cruised along.
so we headed toward our resort next,
on the way the captain started to talk to us about where he was from and what jobs he has had there.
he used to drive the boats on the safari then decided that it was much more peacful to work on the boats outside the park. his wife works in the MGM bakery. she is currently working to get into a front desk at a hotel.
we departed, and headed up to the trading post. where we traded some pins with a few CM's.
afterwards we headed back to the camper.
when we arrived it was about 8:00 and parker was still sleeping so we let him be, and my mom wasnt feeling the hottest so my dad told candi and I to head out on our own.
we were heading to BB he drove us over, and they said when parker woke up they would take him to DTD to hang out then bring him over to us around lunch time...that it would give us about 3 full hours on our own at BB to do some big rides.
I am going to try and do all the updates on this day this week, to make up for lost time on other weeks that i havent been able to do updates.

(2.) Isn't it about time for a TR update?? Im not a very patient person!!

see i knew you were wanting and update so i posted it right before you asked me for it.
answer to number 1. now, i have to get the other birthday pics from my dad.

Nice update, Dan. It looks so peaceful on the route you and Candi ran. I'm with you...I'd be on the lookout for those alligators too...you just never know. 
Love that you guys had the boat all to yourself and that your parents let you and Candi go off to BB on your own for awhile.
And yes you are a little far behind on updates (even Marv got one up this weekend!).
