okay guys i had all of that coming my way i guess, while you were having fun, i was writing the update, and getting it just right, but when i went to submit it it said it was over teh image amount so i didnt have to go back and take stuff out then and there...and when i tried to respond back to you it said internet error so i am fixing it now and will have it up within a few minutes.


but i do have to hand it to you guys, there was some good back and forth between glenn and marv...and i will properly welcome our new guest in a little bit.

well we just got home from a triple birthday party, and good news, before we went we celebrated with a few homemade pitchers of margaritas, because today is our 4th anniversary.

we had a good day we both got each other something disney for our anniversary and of course she got some nice flowers.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm used to Glen and Marv...especially since Marv took over my PTR while I'm on vacation (where I still am).

I'm too tired tonight (we had a celebration which is in my PTR), but I will read the full report tomorrow after we get back from the beach (and I probably will skip a lot of the chatter ).

WOOT! I missed all the abuse, and apparently being called a clown by Rosie.

Great update! I don't get people that send their kids to cut in front if there is clearly no room. And then send them back on top of it!

Granted, my kids will just sneak up there on their own and cut and I'm the one telling them they can't do that but...whatever.

Your poor dad, Parker leaked. UGH.

All in all, sounds like a really really fun night.

And a great tailgate.

parker is already a little bit out in front of hte rope where he is.
so my dad politely tells them that they cant stay there they are not behind the rope, so they go back to there mom.

Ah - that's the first mistake - "politely"......polite doesn't seem to work with people willing to send their kids across the street to sit in front of someone else's kid.

we can see her asking why they are back they say something to her and point at us, she sends them back over, and we see her saying some not so nice stuff to a lady next to her about us.
they come back and sit, and hold the rope outin front of them so they are now behind it, mind you they are pushing the rope out about 2 feet farther than it should be.

see?

so my dad just politely tells them again, that pretty soon someone that works there is going to come and tell them they have to move.
sure enough a few minutes later the parade route guys walk along and tell them they have to move and tells my dad that they cant stay there, he says hey there not mine they belong across the street thats there parents...(they were about 7-12 years old all three of the kids) so the guy tells them to go back to the other side and stay there.

of course the mom starts shooting us eye daggers and talking to the lady next to her and throwing her arms all around... but whatcha going to do.

right here when doppy stopped because of the floats stopping front of him, parker looked like hey get moving, and yelled out

"hey that way" and pointed for him to keep moving

parker loved the show and so did we, in fact he loved it so much that the way my dad was holding him, he leaked through and my dads whole side and front of his shirt was wet.

lesson learned: it is possible to use a full bottle of champagne and a carton of OJ and only make 3 mimosas (but then again if you are using quart jar size water bottles anything is possible)

My bus-trip Mimosa recipe. One gallon jug of Citrus Punch (or orange juice - I like the other flavors mixed in) one bottle (750ml?) champagne. Pour off about half the jug of juice, add the bottle of champagne - slowly so it doesnt fizz all over, pour back in enough of the juice to fill the jug - give the rest of the juice to the kids.

And my bus-trip bloody mary is - get empty gallon jug, pour in on bottle (750 ml) vodka, one big bottle bloody mary mix, top off with vegetable juice.

I can't tell you how they taste, 'cause I really don't care for the taste of either of them (I like sweet fruity stuff - I don't like what the champagne does to the fruit juice ), but we have about a dozen or so bus trips to Cubs games each year, some of the trips we (my husband) runs so I have to make the drinks, the other trips Ray runs so they make the drinks. There are people who have been on trips enough times that they know if Ray is there that I did not make the drinks and some will pass on them...especially the Bloody Mary's. I think he gets creative and it never tastes the same way twice - or he goes a little nuts on the pepper. If nothing else - mine is consistent.

Oh - and both gallon jugs will fit comfortably together in a "playmate" cooler.

we were not going to tailgate after the game so before we went in, we packed our stuff up and headed out to the stadium. so in all our tailgate time was alot of fun, we had a good time, it wasnt that bad being surrounded by college kids with parker out there, even the frat guys on the other side of us were good as well. they were normal college kids but were not rowdy or crewd at all.

Sounds like fun!

First, thanks for giving us something to have fun with...we had a good time while waiting for the update.

if you remember ooohhh about 2 weeks ago now we left off seeing chip and dale at the school of michael jackson dancing entertaining the crowds...and candi and i had just gotten off space mountain. and upon coming out of space mountain did not see the parental units. so i said you take off and get "our spot" for the parade, which was about an hour away.

I'm glad you reminded us, because I actually did forget where we left off.

"our spot" which candi and i found a on our honeymoon for parade watching at night is great, it is across from the christmas store in liberty square next to where the cart is that sells the umbrellas, i meant to take a picture of it but a little later you can see what we are across from.
it is a great spot, there is a railed off area that has a tree in it that once they place the rope there is only room for 1 person between the rope and the railing so you can sit on the railing and not worry about people crowding in on you, well most times that is.

This sounds awesome. Sometime I'll have to have you show me on a park map where it is.

Most of you may remmeber my showdown with the brazlian tour group kids on our last trip, well, we had another one this year.

our seats were good, we were right by the boilermaker train, so parker had a great time watching that during the game.
