As much as I like CA, it dosen't hold a candle to Disneyland. I consider DL my "home" park. I would make my day a Disneyland day!!!!

Sadly, I have no idea about what California Adventures has to offer. I have been to Disneyland many, many years ago, but that was long before CA came into being. Good luck deciding! What other amusement parks are you planning on doing?
I don't know much about DL or CA but I have read a couple of trip reports. At one of the hotels they have Goofy's Kitchen which is like Chef Mickey's and they also have a character breakfast at the Plaza Inn which is in DL.

I love reading your adventures because they make me laugh and smile! I have two Tessas so I know how it is!My son Chase is very excitable and our restaurant meals are exactly like yours. Between Selah talking extremely loud and Chase trying to out talk her, it can get pretty lively. And for some reason one of them always ends up under the table on the floor
gotta love them though!
Your car ride will be a priceless memory for years to come!! When we went on Chase's wish trip he blessed us with a very stinky blowout. It was down his legs and up his backIt took a lot of scrubbing to get the smell out of the van!!
Sounds like you all have had a very interesting trip. and now we are into cliff hangers......did Tessa sleep all night?....or did she make another successful room breakout????![]()
Hello checking in for an update and to see how you are all doing!I was hoping there was a little more things that is close to us on Ty's passport but we are going to try to do a few of the things on there. If we make it out West next year we will be able to do some things too but that is a big if right now. I love how your family travels alot!
Wonderful update! Your pictures are just beautiful!
I'm glad Tessa didn't go exploring again! The pictures of her in the fountain are adorable! And Phoebe, what a beauty!
Great update!!! Yeah, when you first get off I-26 to go into downtown, the neighborhood is a bit of a nail-biter. It's been like that for as long as I can remember.
Beautiful pictures!!! Thanks for all the gorgeous shots you got of my hometown! It makes me want to go back right now!
We talked about moving there. We totally loved it!
What did you think of Hyman's? It's definitely a very popular place! My mouth is watering at the thought of all that yummy seafood.
We really liked it. It was hard to enjoy with Tessa being a pill, but the food was definitely good! We weren't 100% sold on the boiled peanuts, but I suppose that's an acquired taste.
The bench you were all sitting on is called a Joggling Board and is very common in the Lowcountry. You can even buy one for your very own.
Why is it called that? Do you know the history? (I guess I can google it, lol) We tried putting Phoebe on it, because she loves to rock and swing, but I guess since it went side to side she didn't like it.
Did you happen to look out on the harbor while you were walking along the Battery? You can see Fort Sumter from there where the first shots of the Civil War were fired.
We did look out. Heather saw a dolphin, she thinks. We had a hard time choosing what to see since we only spent a couple of days. I SO want to go back!
Okay, I am ready for your next update! Is it more Charleston fun or were you headed somewhere else?![]()
What gorgeous pictures! I want to go there now!! My favorite is the one with Tim walking with both girls![]()
Beautiful pictures!
That food looks so good! The hush puppies are calling my name
Too funny about the butterfly landing on Tim
Looks like Phoebe and Tessa both enjoyed the playground too cute!
Sounds like it was a great day!
Awesome pics! I love that the town has so much history!
I guess we do here, too...but I have no idea what it is! I need to be a tourist here, I suppose.![]()
Don't you just love Charleston? It is a wonderful place with so many photo ops as you discovered. As ususal your pics are the top. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Melissa....
Your pictures are amazing! Love the history lesson too! Seems like you had a lot of time to explore and the kids (from the pics) seemed to be going along with it!
Love the fountain pics of the girls too!![]()
Wow!! I took most of the day, but I just read your Tr and loved every min. of it. What a great job you did. Sorry you had all that rain in the beginning. I loved looking at all the pictures. The girls are so beatiful. Loved all the dresses. Glad you stood up and got the window sit at the Castle. Thank you for the FYI about the BBB. So glad your second trip to WDW was better.
Wow, you must have tired eyes!I'm so glad we ditched our calendar and did MK again.
I know you asked awhile ago about the muscle biopsy, but just wanted to let you know that Kylee had one and it was that bad. She limped a couple of days, but that was it. Can't really see her scar now.
