Gotta try it! We went there . . . it's near Capt. Hiram's. It's over the water and walking up to it, you might wonder if you're making a grave mistake. It looks a little shady as you approach it. However, once you walk inside, it's a GREAT casual place open on three sides. The fourth side is fronted by a bar and behind that is the kitchen. The menu is creative (baked sweet potato with maple syrup something or other) but not over the top including dinners and an assortment of burgers, sandwiches etc. The staff was friendly and willing to please. And when we were there, there was a trio playing music by Crosby, Stills & Nash and similar artists. We also happened to be there as Katrina was approaching in its baby form before it became the monster hurricane after passing over south Florida and we were treated to some beautiful cloud formations and a double rainbow. Great place! From what the staff said, people eat at Squid Lips and then go to party at Hiram's . . . although my experience at Capt. Hiram's didn't make me think of partying. Could be we're 40 something with 2 kids!
