Sorry no pics,,, everyone there was so mesmerized that we all forgot about pictures.
Stand directly in front of the Castle for best viewing.

The fireworks best view would be from the back side of the Castle.

The Haunted mansion has added a cool new thing with the hitchhiking ghosts part of the ride. Keep an eye on the mirrors. And the new graveyard.

Small World has swapped the entrance and exit.

Space Mountain has added new visuals on the walk to and from the ride.

The MK is only partially decorated right now.

There is some pretty neat MVMCP merchandise. Some light up snowman, lanyards also with snowman, shirts, hats, some that light up. They also now have light up balloons.

We hadn't been to Tom's island in many years,,I really enjoy'd the re-visit. (there are some family members who aren't as thrilled with the island as am I) (but being as loved as I, they tolerate my inner child, )

If you go into the old mill it creaks and groans a song,,we tried to hear the song but you have to listen to the noises and then try to spped them up in your mind to hear the song,
As I understand , the song is spose to be "Down by the Old Mill Stream" ?

Anyone know this to be true ?

Just back from the campfire. They now have a rock wall pit with the kettles in it. The posts that you could sit on are gone. They have poured concrete all around the kettles.

Frank don't like change.

I'm w/ Frank on this one...I guess it looks prettier, but where are you supposed to sit especially when you're doing jiffy pop which takes longer than a marshmallow & it would be chaos if everyone tried to bring chairs over. More importantly, I used those posts as a "don't get closer than this" for my 3 year old. Nothing to hold her back now.
I don't like change either, especially to the campfire -- some of my fondest memories of my Grandpa taking me there.

Nice trip report! Enjoying the updates (and jealous). BTW is you see an older guy wearing a pink lanyard that is most likely my dad. He is trading pins for his grand daughter! But what would you expect a grandpa to do.

So much fun reading as always. Cant wait for our trip. I see Frank traded up for black crocs. Very nice. I liked the red ones better. Keep having a magical time and sharing those pics. And I have never been on the island so I have no idea if I am missing out. I am surprised someone said they dont do wristbands for the parties. Any of the after hour events have had wristbands for a while now. Since they started letting you into the park earlier then the event. I remember when I was in teens at church we went to NOJ and they closed the park early and we had to wait til 7 to enter and it was empty when we entered.

oh, and that other little square morsel on the little paper plate next to it is a Magic Cookie Bar ,,it is a gooy/sticky kinda cookie thingy with Coconut, Chocolate Chips, Peanuts & Peanut butter Chips,, and a few other tastes that I'm not sure of .


oh yeah, it was frigg'n awesome !!

The fish'n is fine (weather has been great) the catch'n is a little slim, not reel'n in any swimmers to write home about (hence the not post'n much fish pics).
But Denise is doing a fine job of kick'n my but-t in the fish department.,
