Springtime Surprise Weekend 2025 (April 3-6)

Final short slow run before this weekend’s races, a little bit of rain today, so we took it inside. I think we are ready.

We have an oak tree in front of our house and my husband has been miserable for weeks. Thankfully it's finally starting to get better.

My entire community is full of Laurel oaks - hundreds of them. 95% of the year, I love it! All that shade and green is amazing. Except for this several week period. Absolutely brutal! I was hoping the rain we got late Saturday would help, but it made it even worse. We need another good soaking, minus the wind.

My bib is 14xxx.
I have a 60 minute 10K from last summer, but wasn't able to input it when I signed up. I'm really hoping that race relations will bump my corral up on Thursday. If so, great. If not, I'll grumble and second guess whether or not I should have tried to do it vs not getting signed up when registration was open for a few minutes (I still think the correct answer is to simply get a bib, which I did).
The real point of the matter is that I finally had a POT that I could apply and might not be able to benefit from it.
I hate leaving money a POT on the table....

If your time is eligible they should. I know someone who picked up a last minute bib for this last Princess and skipped the POT option to check out faster, and they were able to get into the POT corral! Obviously ask early just in case the corrals reach a "max capacity" at some point.
