Springtime Surprise Weekend 2025 (April 3-6)

Surprised they didn't go with with red or black for the 10 miler.

I'm convinced sometimes that the printers just print the wrong shirts on the wrong colors. Like, for Disneyland, it would have made so much more sense to switch the 5K gray shirt with the 10K red shirt because the designs popped better on the opposite color. It's like the printer messed up and runDisney was like "oh well." An orange shirt for the 5K makes no sense when the graphic design literally has orange in it.

I’m so glad it’s not just me. I’m a fine arts major and I’m in actual physical pain rn.

We all know that no one needs to show anything---that the resellers and the runners will buy, buy, buy and the $$$$ will be flowing (electronically).

But that doesn't stop me from checking every hour or so, and I'm not even going to be there!

I have a friend setting up my running company's booth at the expo and she sent a picture of the Brooks display cases but they are predictably still empty.

I am really hoping the usual suspect influencers get a sneak peek tonight. I wasn't planning on trying to get a VQ so I'd like to know if I should bother trying or not!

Landed, not my favorite flight ever, that is for sure! But excited to stay at Pop! That is where we stayed a lot when first coming to DW, but since joining DVC do t get to stay there so often! So much nostalgia!

Oh, and it is warm!

The core runDisney shoes are Adrenaline GTS 24. The rest are Ghost Max 2.

Really bummed they're not available in every style! I use Adrenalines so I might buy the core shoe.

Boo, no Glycerins at all. I debated trying for the Adrenalines, but I don't need a stability shoe. Oh well, maybe they'll have Glycerins in a future release.

Of course, they drop as my flight takes off! The rD colorway are Adrenaline 24 and the rest are Ghost Max. The weird blue is SS weekend design.

I don't love any of them, but might get the Mickey.

Second is supposedly Springtime Surprise themed. I guess it sort of fits?

EDIT: the Mickey colorway looks significantly different between the IG post and the blog post. Looks like a light blue to black or dark navy in IG but is clearly black in the blog and would guess the latter is more accurate.

Pro tip, brooks shoes are unisex! For those wearing women’s sizes, size down 1.5 for your equivalent. I have lots of women’s 9s and occasionally order men’s 7.5s and they are identical in every way. The ghost max 2s fit the same as the ghost 15s for me. I haven’t bought the ghost 16s yet but they run small and when I tried them on I think I’d have to go up half a size compared to the 15s. I haven’t run more than a test run in the max 2s, I found them comfortable but definitely heavier than the regular ghosts.

It looks like men’s sizes only go down to a 7 so this only helps if you wear a women’s 8.5 or larger.

I second this! I wear an 8.5 in Brooks and got a men's 7 (Adrenaline) for a specific navy/orange pair and the fit is the same.
