Hey fellow Dis'ers,
My wife and I want to surprise our DD 11 and DS 7. I designed these cards using the Disney celebrate graphic. We plan to place them in their Easter basket along with the Disney goodies we have been collecting. I was looking for feedback on what y'all thought or ideas to improve them.

My friend did a puzzle type of a surprise.........she put it on a cardboard and had about twelve pieces and cut them and then put them in a box.....
her son opened it up and began to put it together and the puzzle read......we are going on a disney trip.......want to go? it was the best surprise puzzle ever....

We're telling our girls Easter morning, too. What a cute idea... Now, if I could figure out how to do something that cute to put in their baskets.....

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Flipflopmom, it would be easy for me to change the names and dates if you would like a copy. I can email it in any format. I plan to use card stock to print them on..PM me if you are interested.

so cute, and i LOVE the puzzle idea --- what a way to build up the anticipation by putting the puzzle together...

We surprised our kids last year at Easter for our May trip. It was so fun. We were at my MIL's house, so I put letters inside plastic eggs that spelled out "Run to Grandma's Room". I had put a huge poster that said "We're Going to Disney" in Grandma's room with a stuffed character for each of the kids - they were VERY excited!

If you want to add fun things go to your dollar store and see what they have there, I usually find a few little Disney things there. Disney dollars are something else that's great to put in an Easter basket. :) Fun fun, we surprised our girls twice, once we just put them in the car and drove to DL, it's 6 hrs from our house and they had NO clue where we were going. The next year we decided to go again and we did a treasure hunt. I made up clues and they followed them to the treasure, which was our package packet. We haven't done surprised since then, we have APs now so it kind of defeats the surprise element. lol Enjoy your trip!

It's hard for my wife and I to keep the secret this long. We have had this planned since last August. We watch the travel channel Disney shows with my children and they say "why can't we go"? I just want say "WE ARE GOING TO WDW" I can hardly contain myself. Plus this will be out 20th wedding anniversary. We honeymooned at the Grand Floridian 20 years ago and this is our first trip back to the world.
