Springhill Suites - I Drive

Hi there,

Looking to book for May 2007 - have seen a couple of good deals for the above - just wanted to know if anyone has stayed there and what they thought.

We have stayed in the one at Marriot Village in LBV & would stay there again,in fact if we hadn't got such a good deal on the Staybridge suites ,that was where we were going. You don't say how many of you there are? There was plenty of space for 3 of us but I would imagine that for 5 or 6 it could get a bit cramped. The room is no where near the size it looks in the brochures but is more than adequate,although there isn't much privacy between the 2 1/2s. Kitchen area had a coffee maker,fridge & micro wave & a small sink. The hotel was fairly new at the time so everything was spotless & it had a fairly well equiped(though small) gym.
If you want to consider something with a bit more space ,have a look at the Staybridge suites,we are about to stay at them for the second time (used to be Summerfield) although not at the I-Drive site.They have seperate bedrooms,the biggest,most comfiest king sized bed we have ever slept in, a fully fitted kitchen -including dishwasher.
