Springbreak AFTER Easter?

Does anyone have spring break after Easter? Easter is on April 11th next year and I was thinking of going April 18th. We waited a week after Easter thisyear and the crowds were not that bad at all. Easter was the 20th though so maybe because there were no spring breakers left? I'm hoping to go when the crowds are still low but anything before April will be too chilly for us. Anyone? Thanks!~

We are planning a trip to WDW 4/18/04 - 4/25/04. Our school system has that week off for Spring Break this year, too.

Glad to hear the crowds weren't too bad when you went this past year. There is a thread re: when everyone's Spring Break is and it appears that the end of April there are very few folks on break.

Are you thinking of staying anyplace in particular?

the week of the 18th is also spring break for public schools in Massachusetts. I don't think that there are many other schools that are out that week, other than MA and ME. We are hoping that the crowds will be thinning out while we are there.

Thanks Emagirl. I can't seem to find that thread but will check back farther. I was hoping no one had springbreak from April 18th and on. We went the 28th last year because I wanted to stick around for DH's birthday which is the 27th of April. He doesn't go to WDW with me so that was the least I could do! After speaking with him last night he said he had no problem with me going and missing his b-day. He is such a nice guy! So I was thinking of going earlier. Now I might just have to go a little later to beat all chances of spring breakers. I have no schedule to adhere to so I can go when I want. As for a place to stay, the Poly is it! It is our favorite place at WDW and we have been there 3 times in the last 18 months. I love the Poly!

We will be on the DCL from 4/18/04 - 4/22/04, then we head to WDW until the 26.

This is our first Spring Break at WDW. Usually, we go first week in December or during our February Break.

I do know that some school in NH & NY have the same spring break as we do. -- Good luck and have fun!!

A lot of schools in CT are also out that week--must be a New England thing.

Hubby is a teacher in Ma and we have gone to Disney many times during April vacation. The only time it is really crowded is when Easter falls during that week. If Easter is early, the crowds have never been bad and the weather is just perfect, not much rain, sometimes none, and temps in the 80's. Yes, Ma schools always have that week off, third week of April, and I believe some other NE schools have off that week too. It's getting so that there really isn't an "off" time to go anymore, there always seems to be some school off of something. From my experience April is a great time to go as long as it's not the two weeks surrounding Easter. I think you will have a great time.
