Spring "What are you reading?" Book Thread

I just finished "Look Again" by Lisa Scottoline. I thought it was great. I couldn't put it down. :thumbsup2

Last week I read "My Life in France" by Julia Child and loved it, too. She had quite a life.

Just finished Caught by Harlan Coben. Great book:goodvibes

Recently got into the Body movers series by Stephanie Bond - fun reading.

I'm done with Just Take My Heart by Mary Higgins Clark. It is not one of her better books. I'm not sure that I would even recommend it to anyone.

I can't decide if I'm ready to start the next Robert Jordan book in his Wheel of Time series. I get so caught up in them. Hmmm, decisions, decisions!

Any recommendations for a good biography of Walt's life? Barnes & Noble had a few on the shelves and I saw many on Amazon, but I just couldn't decide.

My favorite was Walt Disney An American Original (I think that was the title) by Bob Thomas...

Decided to put off getting involved in another Robert Jordan book and began Killing Floor by Lee Child this morning. It is his 1st book about Jack/John? Reacher. Just love this character.

I finished Killing Floor by Lee Child last night. I realized about a third of the way through that I had read it before. But, since it is such a good book, I decided to finish it instead of putting it down. This is the third book in a row that I've begun to read and realize that I have read it before.

So, I've begun a book that I know that is new to me. I started Crown of Swords by Robert Jordan this morning.

LOVE LEE CHILD!!! I've read them all and just got the newest in PB for my train trip to Disney in a couple weeks..

I finished Lavender Morning by Jude Deveraux & now I'm waiting to read her book Days of Gold, the next in the series.
I'm finishing up Lavender Morning now. Thanks for posting this because I don't know if I would have read it or not without a recommendation. I've been a major Jude Deveraux fan for many years. Back in the early 90's a cousin gave me a grocery sack filled with JD books and I've been hooked since. I had read one of her newer books with a contemporary setting and was very disappointed so that's why I'd been staying away from her newer stuff.

My DS and I are reading The Kingdom Keepers series. He has no idea we're going to WDW this fall.

Working my way through Drums of Autumn in the Outlander Series - so much easier to read it on a Kindle then holding such a thick book.:woohoo::woohoo:

"High On Arrival" by MacKenzie Phillips. I just ordered this on my kindle. I got a sample and was interested, so I downloaded the whole thing. So far it's pretty good. I wanted something I could get through quickly, as the last book I read took me awhile- it was a bore.

I just finished Valerie Bertinelli's latest book "Finding It, and Satisfying My Hunger for Life without Opening the Fridge". She's funny and inspiring but then I've always been a fan.

I've finally finished A Crown of Swords by Robert Jordan. I enjoyed it as much as the other six in the series. Think I might go ahead and start Book 8.

I'm glad I found this thread! I love.love.love reading! I'm finishing all the books by Mary Kay Andrews, funny books! I stumbled on them in the library and said what the heck! I've read soo many lately-but a few to point out- The Geometry of Sisters by Luanne Rice was good. American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeed was good. The Accidental mother by Rowan Coleman, Comfort Food by Kate Jacobs, Island of Lost Girls by Jennifer McMahon all good reads!

Am i the only guy who has posted on this thread?
Anyways i just finished Under the Dome by Stephen King. Fast paced and great. I have moved on to Band of Brothers and Brothers in Battle Best of Friends by Bill Guarnere and Babe Heffron. Both are very good.

Our book club is reading Half Broke Horses by, Jeannette Walls for next month. I loved her memoir The Glass Castle. This book is a first person account of the life of her grandmother. Has anyone else read it?
