If you want an amazing meal, hands down Jiko is the winner. It’s a favorite of ours and I’ll be there Sunday to cap off the weekend. If you are worried about a large meal with possibly new flavors and dishes for you to try then France is still a great meal. I’ve never been to Shulas

Help me decide where to have my early dinner tomorrow before the 10k: Chefs de France, Jiko, or Shula’s.

I’ve never eaten at any of them, and I’m staying near Epcot. Leaning towards Jiko (I’ve also never seen AK Lodge) but the other 2 are clearly walking distance from my hotel. Thoughts?

Yeah the sold out 5k medal replica pins are going for $50-$60 on eBay already But I lucked out and got one! I asked at the register and the CM checked the returns bin and found one! Score!

Is there a magnet for the Ten Miler?

There is, same yellow but I find it way more tolerable on a magnet than a shirt.

I didn’t see, sorry. I avoid finisher stuff to ward off jinxes

Anyone happen to have the game code for the scavenger hunt? I forgot to look for info at the expo, I’m sure they will have all that at the start line, I’m just hoping to verify my app is all set to go.

I definitely understand. I bought my marathon Finisher shirt on the Saturday morning before the race and told my wife that I would be returning it in the event that I was swept.

SiL and I were parked at 7:45 and into the queue room by 8. In to shop at around 10:15. Got our pins, shirts, etc, took pics with the distance backdrops and were off to bib pickup by 10. She had to deal with a paper waiver and getting her accounts merged, grabbed our bibs, shirts, wandered through the other vendors there and checked out the summer series medals. Were back in the car and back to our rental by 11:35.

There was definitely less stuff than during MW. They had a bunch of Minnie ears available, which I don’t remember there being during MW (probably so there was more stuff to be able to buy )

OMFG! I'm at work and can't get there until Saturday morning much like marathon weekend. I just hope that there are Ten Miler Finisher shirts remaining so I can get one for my daughter.

Ten miler had 2 dedicated racks other distances had one

The hot items tend to be the spirit jerseys, jackets and other non-race specific merch. At least at Marathon weekend that seemed to be the case.

The only things gone when we finally got in was most 5K stuff grabbed the I did it pin went to “settle” for the weekend magnet went back to check the sizes & price point of the I did it shirt just for anything else race specific and they put out about a dozen magnets….

May start pricing a one night stay off site just to get any coco merch at wine & dine since no preorders

Just left Jambo, stopping at Kidani, then off to claim my bib.
Hoping the weather holds, I‘m wondering that being after park close instead of before park open there may at least be a little more room for delays.

Rain chances look progressively higher as the night rolls on unfortunately

I've stayed at Universal for all of my runDisney races. For morning races, I take what time Disney wants you to be in the parking lot and then double the amount of travel time that I expect it to take to get there. So if Disney wants you in the parking lot by 3:30 a.m., I would leave by 2:50 a.m. That leaves plenty of time for any issues/traffic that might come up. Once in the parking lot, I usually finish eating breakfast and then shut my eyes for a little bit. But I'd rather be sitting in the parking lot than stressing on the road.

It took us 54 minutes to get through the indoor lines. People are insanely grabbing stuff. The green zip up area was a madhouse. I grabbed the smallest size I could see and zoomed out of there. Still decent on spirit jerseys and the ornament, but the 5K magnet and medal pin were sold out (overheard a CM tell someone this).

5K logo pin too I did it was slim pickings…. CMs were telling people to get print on demand magnets at co op and to ask cashiers for pins at checkout the lady checking me out said they have been digging through baskets
