For over a decade WDW has been offering Star Wars Weekends during May and early June as a draw to bring guests into the parks. After yesterday's sad announcement of the cancellation of SWW this leaves only Epcots Flower and Garden Festival- not exactly the biggest headliner to get people into the parks during a slow time of year.
This past year we went during September for F&W. Several years ago this was our favorite time of year to go because there was no wait for rides and ADR's were easy. Not this year-it was packed! Free dining, F&W, MNSSHP and other events have made fall super crowded and bring people in during, what use to be, a quiet time of year.
With May schools having spring finals and standardized testing. Will the end of spring through Memorial Day become the new Fall? What is there to really bring the people in especially with the construction zones all around, not just at HS?
Any "rumors" on new spring offerings?
