Spring Promo Open to Disney Visa Holders

Thank you for this !!! I have been freaking out because everyone here calling and not getting through that by the time Jan 3 came all the discounted rooms would be gone.

The CM I spoke with said the super long wait times were due to "enhancements" with the computer system that were causing issues... I'm sure you'll be fine for the 3rd!!!!

Has everyone else been getting the additional things in their reservation email, like 2 disneyquest vouchers, golf vouchers, $15 voucher for Planet Hollywood etc? I didn't know it was included but both times I called, it was all included in my reservation email along with my ME voucher. How would I find out more information about these things and where/when I can use them etc?

Someone else said earlier this is part of the current promo ... but it sounds like you got it before the promo as well ???

Maybe its just part of disney trying to add "value" to the ressies now ?

Yes, I guess it's included but not that much value for us frankly.

Those components are part of the 2013 Disney vacation packages and were there before this new promotion came out. The vouchers are per room, not per person.

EEK I just got off the phone, 56 minutes total. The CM Jackie was very nice and tried very hard to help me, but I'm not convinced she gave me correct answers. I just cringe at the thought of calling again..... Anyway, she said there were no blackouts for the visa promotion. I said "great here are my dates" (Easter time frame). She proceeded to quote me rack rate at BC. I said that is rack rate, so is the visa deal not applicable for my dates? She kept trying, then she put me on hold, then she came back and said my dates are blacked out. So.....I said what about AP rates.....those are blacked out too she said. So as of right now, I'm sticking with my AAA discount and will keep a close eye on if Disney decides to leave all these rooms empty again this Easter.

Oh, the winter storms! That makes the longer call times make more sense. And the great CM I got told me I was his first call today (around 2p EST) that had the visa. He did say he was getting calls from people saying ' I don't have the visa, but if I did what would it cost'.

ok, called first thingand got the discount applied. $439 off 6 nts. in Nemo suite april 12th with 5 day base tickets. 2 adults and 2 kids. Better than no discount i guess

Just jumped on this bandwagon. Saw this offer late late last night. So set clock and up early. Was so worth it.

Was at BC GV which offered would of saved about $600.00, checked water view and it was about $50.00 less total than what I had.
Asked about CR and scored a GV wing room! Great deal! Saved $400.00 overall {for what I had initally} or $800.00 off rack rate for this room.

Our dates are april 17 > 25th.

Total wait time > 3 minutes.

I never even saw the offer. This was the first time, since we began going to Disney in 1973, that I have used a travel agent. She emailed me last night that she had called and had the discount applied.....saving $225 at Wilderness and $1,200 at Boardwalk!!! Beyond happy!

I called yesterday after work. My CM told me it was her first call of the day regarding the disney visa promo.

I had a 4 night room only reservation at Pop. It took her FOREVER to try to figure out how to apply the promo. In the end - she just applied a room only promo to it (saved $115). I wanted to add the discounted tickets, but she just quoted me a price for full price tickets.

I'd like to add 6 day tickets to my 4 night package.... is that possible?

I'll try calling again tonight and see if I can do better.

wow so .... just could have had the discount applied to my package (have moved to Riverside) but I didn't because I didn't want the CM to get in trouble (since I don't actually have a Disney Visa Card since I am Canadian

BUT, did find out I will save $900 !!! Assuming I can apply it Jan 3 !!! Pretty dang nice !!!

Saw that this deal had been released to Disney VISA holders yesterday morning, and I spent all day yesterday running the numbers. I wound up calling around 5 central time. Counting hold time and the time making the reservation, I was on the phone for about 28 minutes.

I was able to book Pop Century for seven nights/seven day base tix, for myself and three kids (all whom are considered Disney adults) for just a little over $2,000. Rack rate was $2419. All in all I saved about $360.

Is there a minimum length of stay requirement? I've read the deal a few times and would love to use it for 4/3-4/5. But before sitting on hold for a while, I'm hopeful someone can help confirm that I am reading it right, that there is no minimum stay.

There is no stay requirement for the room discount, but to take advantage of the tickey discount you need to purchase a 4 - 10 day ticket.

I've been on hold on the AP line for 35 min so far....I might get an answer quicker on here! We have APs - but if the ticket prices are better than UT, it would benefit me to get them with this promo & save them for a time that we don't have AP's. My question is - are the tickets purchased at a discount throught this promo tied to this stay only, or as long as I don't use them, will they be good indefinitely?

Gosh, what time are you guys getting through? I have been on hold for 60 minutes, 20 minutes and 40 minutes and nobody picks up. I give up! Maybe I will try later tonight.......I suppose all of the people down there right now are trying to get through too, to make dining reservations, etc.
