spring break?

Hi all, does anyone know the actual weeks Spring Break will fall on in 2016? just wondering how busy the parks will be over the Easter period? Many thanks

Spring Break is spread throughout the country from early to mid-March, particularly Texas schools, and mid to late April, schools up north/back east. So, there's a good month and half a stretch. I would assume that the week with Good Friday, 4th week of March, will be the busiest. It will probably be busier after that through the first or second week of April. Earlier in March and late April will be the least busy, but not probably slow.

spring break is different all over the country. Here in our school district Spring break is March 14-19. Easter will be very,very busy.

I second this, the weeks surrounding easter is when a bulk of the schools around the US have their breaks but like others have said, it can be anywhere. some states and school systems have more than 1 week break near easter also so it's not limited to sometime in march until after easter.

The various crowd calendars out there will help give you a general idea of what the crowds will look like but take it with a grain of salt because the discounts to fill up those slow times have been plentiful this last year.

If it helps, Touring Plans has 3/6/16 as a 7, before that March is below 7. The 13th is goes to 8 and stays at 8 or 9 until 3/20. 3/21 it jumps to 10 and stays at 9 or 10 until 4/2. 4/3 is drops to 6 and stays at 5-7 through the rest of April.

Our school's break starts with Good Friday and continues the week after Easter. We flew in the Thursday before Easter and boarded the Dream the Monday after Easter. We missed the largest crowds the week after Easter. Easter itself was manageable. We attended the church service at the Contemporary and then took the monorail to Epcot. I was not even going to attempt MK on Easter Sunday.

Our district's spring break starts on Good Friday and goes through the entire next week. I'll be arriving at WDW on Good Friday and staying until 3/30 (Wednesday) so I can be all up in the thick of the craziness! Hitting MK on Easter Sunday, hopefully during very early EMH and then Epcot that night for IllumiNations. I expect insanity, but it doesn't bother me. No little ones to worry about, so we can just go back to the resort and lay in hammocks or float in the pool if things get too insane in the parks.

our spring break is March 11-19, and this is when we will be there. You should just stay home

Our Spring break is April 11-15 2016, but I know of some other districts that are the week after that (and I'm assuming that most of New England will be one of those two weeks, because that's pretty typical around here).
