This is my first trip report mainly because this is the first time I have had the time to be able to do one.
Ok this is how this escapade began.....good friends of ours were going for Spring Break/Easter and family reunion (we skipped) we have been on many trips w/them before and were persuaded to come along. however they were camping, and for anyone who knows us well we are NOT CAMPING people our idea of ruffing it is the fact that as DVC members we don't get daily room service. So here became the quandry:
1. This was completely not planned for so we need to make it cheap i.e. either camp w/the Campers or get rooms at DVC
2. We only had about 3 1/2 weeks to get it all in line and we needed to work out transportation.
The Cast and/or Crew
The Campers:
Darcy
Randy
Heath-21 yr son
Jordan-11 yr son
Taylor-8 yr daughter
Vanessa-8 yr neice
Tori-6yr neice sister to Vanessa
Kaitlyn-8yr friend to Taylor
DVCers:
Matt
Amy
They left for the drive on Thursday and drove stright through. We were unable to leave until April 2nd 6am and arriving at 1:30pm due to our schedules and the flights for April 1st were insane amounts of money. We did have one hope that we could get on one of the earlier flights out of Atlanta in order to get to MCO at about 11am. The next hurdle was to get rooms, ha ha you say? Ha ha DVC said as well. Before departure we had 4/2 at WLV, 4/3 OKW, 4/4 at WLV w/4/5 available at WLV we were in a debate as to weither we would stay there for that night or stay at Fort Wilderness w/the Campers for that night since we would be leaving the next day anyway.
So that is were we stood up until April 1st. April 2nd Arrival Day to follow shortly.......Let the fun begin.......
