Spring Break Poll - even if you answered the other thread - please

We are out Mar. 21-26 for Spring Break. We will be at POP.

Dallas Independent School District is out March 14-18, with the potential of a four day weekend March 25-28 if we don't need our "snow" days.

is our Spring Break. We live in Massachusetts.
(These dates not one of the poll choices.) This may be a really good thing for us, as it confirms the fact that it will be relatively quiet when we are there.

Thanks for the poll. I came to this Board today just for this very purpose. I'm happy to see that my week is "losing" so far.

Ours is 4/2 - 4/10. We've been the last two years for our Spring Break and it has become our second favorite time to go. (Early December is our very favorite.) Hope the weather is as ABSOLUTELY PERFECT as it was last year!

We're off for a week starting Good Friday. I don't think we'll take a vacation over spring break this year because prices are just too high Easter week.

Thank you all for responding. It looks like we may actually change our plans to April 9-16. It seems to miss the breaks around Easter and the Northeast breaks at the end of the month.
We are currently slated for March 11-19th but the UG guide has me really scared as it lists that time as a 7 and the April time as a 4.

Great, so now I know NOT to go to WDW March 5th through the end of April. To the person that said they have spring break the last week of April, N.Y., I think it was, Doesn't school close for the summer shortly after that?, like in May? Seems like a rather late spring break.

Up here in the Northeast most schools don't get out for the summer until the 3rd week of June. My dds last day is June 24 this year.

Yup, we all get out the third week in June. Our schools here in Syracuse have a winter break in Feb and then a spring break the third week in April. Although many others in Ny break the last week in April.

I believe our school year is 180-182 days. In NYC the last day of school is June 28, but we don't start school until the Monday after Labor Day. We also have mny days off during the year that other school systems do not.

We have the same schedule in Rochester; Winter break during Pres. Week (Feb) and usually the 3rd week in April.
