I am thinking we may go to Universal, IOA, DC and SW the week of spring break which will be March 26 and the next 7 days. We will stay on -site definitely to have FOTL access. Has anyone been spring break? How bad are the crowds? is it worth it? I don't want to pull my 8 & 11 year old out of school so this is the best time.

March is busy, but not overly so. I go to March usually every year and the crowds aren't too bad.

Our spring break is usually the week before. I was up there the last two March spring breaks. Satying onsite is a plus! It isn't that bad in March. Most Spring breaks are staggered in March.

Check the park hours before you go. They will tell what the expected crowds will be. And here's my General Guide:

6pm (or earlier) closing:
NOT BUSY. Almost all attractions have 10 min or less waits the entire day

7pm closing:
Not too busy. 10-30 minute variable wait for nearly everything.

8pm closing:
Moderately Busy. Waits can get up to 45-60 minutes.

9, 10, or 11pm closing
VERY BUSY. This is when express lines have long waits (up to 20 min) and the regular lines can exceed 75 mins for the most popular stuff.

12am (HHN): See 7pm

2am(HHN) See 9/10/11pm.
