How busy do you think Harry Potter will be at spring break?

We were there this past week (President's Day week) and it was really, really busy at Wizarding World. You had to get a return time ticket.

We were there for early entry on Thursday and Friday and as we left the area at 9 ish, there were throngs of people entering. Even as we got to the entrance of the park, waves and waves of people were still entering and walking over the bridge to get to the park. I was very surprised at the crowd level.

I think Spring Break will be crazy.

Aren't most Spring Break times different? Unless of course you're talking about local Spring Break.
We're going during Spring Break, and we're in North GA. I know it's different from when my nieces have Spring Break in Central Florida.

The weeks around Easter are generally the most popular spring breaks. This year it is the last two weeks in April. This calendar shows the times when Universal is expecting the largest crowds. https://secure.universalstudios.com...yGroupExternalID=UO&CategoryExternalID=UOUEP2

The return times are a common thing with Wizarding World on weekdays. Originally they had entry to that section limited to a certain number of people and just a line of people waiting for someone to leave so they could enter. They have been toying with new ways to handle that crowd a lot lately, we go two to three times a month so i've seen most of the attempts. The latest method they've been using has been a return time system after the Wizarding World hits capacity. The real trick, though, is to get there early enough so that you don't have to take a return time ticket (generally before 10:00 into Wizarding World) and to not use the lockers because lately the line to lock your stuff up at Forbidden Journey has been near as long as the line to ride. If bringing stuff in is unavoidable, I would recommend paying for the lockers at Jurassic Park and then going to Forbidden Journey or locking up at Triwizard Tournament (old Dueling track).

With that being said it is almost sure to be busy the weeks of 3-7 to 3-21 because those two weeks contain the local spring breaks for colleges.

We went Presidents Week and it was easy because we stayed in a Universal hotel. That gives you one hour early entry to the Wizarding World which is the only way to enjoy that section without crazy crowds. Start at Forbidden Journey because it does not have express access otherwise. And then you can use your hotel key to go on everything else without waiting in much of a line. If you know how to beat the system and avoid lines and are willing to pay more for a better time, you will have an easy time any time of year.

Going the week before Easter. Expecting Crazy crowds, but just trying to play it easy and just go with it.

Staying onsite for FOTL.

Getting closer:banana::banana:

Spring Break starts for a few major colleges tomorrow. The last spring break is from April 22nd to April 29th (my kid's break). From now on expect fairly busy during the week and insanity on the weekends.

i have a friend that just came back and she said it was really busy this time of year so cant imagine how crowded it will be then.:eek:

happy queuing :thumbsup2
