I don't have time to do a full-blown trip report, but since I searched high and low for this answer when I was planning my trip, I wanted to post my observations:

Our trip was from March 11th- March 18th. A LOT of Texas and a LOT of Canada was there, but the crowds were very moderate.

Many times I commented on the fact that they were about what I experienced during the first week of December on previous trips. The only days that they were thick, were at the AK on a Sunday (Orlando is/was also on Spring Break) and at the MK, which is always more crowded IMO.

(We still experienced Soarin' and Expedition Everest multiple times! Awesome, awesome rides!!! )

Since I know it matters, please keep in mind that Easter is at the end of April this year. It was so hard for me to get an idea of what to expect, so I hope this helps those out there, planning March trips in the future.

Next year Easter is in March, closer to our Spring Break. I'm sure the crowds will be much different, but for those who are planning future trips in March, with a late April Easter, I would go for it! I will be!

This was our fifth 'Early March' trip and I agree that the crowds were what I'd call Moderate. In all honesty, 2006 wasn't much different than any of our other 4, and some of them featured Easter earlier than this year. I attribute our good experience to a schedule a friend of mine printed off Tour Guide Mike's site. My friend is a paid subscriber and I'll pay the fee next time. Following this, we got an hour more of sleep than we would have using my old Hit the EMH Park strategy and the parks did seem less jammed in the morning.

I think I recognize you from the TGM site (I'm Nutz_for_WDW on there). I'm 150% sure this is why I had such low crowds too.

Next trip will probably be the first week of June and since I'm already acclimated to their heat and humidity, my last worry about the crowds is gone.
