Spring Break at VWL - Arrived April 5

We flew into MCO yesterday. The bus lines for Magical Express were LONG. Our plan landed at 11, and it was almost 2 before we got to the lodge. We have two studios, both on points. We did the online check-in last week. One check-in was received, the other WAS NOT. They had no note that I had checked in. This was bit frustrating. On top of that, they had not processed a change in who was on the reservation. After approximately 30 minutes, it was worked out, and we went to our room (which was ready). We took advantage of the pool before grabbing a bit of lunch at Roaring Forks. After a brief rest, we went to wait for the boat to Magic Kingdom. We waited about 35 minutes. Magic Kingdom was pretty crowded, but doable. Whoops! The rest of our party arrived....I will tell more later. Off to EPCOT!

Sorry to hear about the long wait for ME and the problems at check-in -- pixie dust that the rest of your trip is magical!!

Just an FYI in case you didn't know ... there is also a bus from WL to MK. While not as scenic or fun as the boats, they seem to come a bit more often and it is only a 5 minute trip from pick-up to drop-off because it doesn't stop anywhere else. We found that we even started prefering the bus because the bus stop is so much closer to the villas then the boat dock.

I too perferred the bus to MK, bus stop so close to VWL!

Oh, we really didn't mind the waits. AFter all, we are in Disneyworld. Since day one, the buses have been great. We went to Downtown Disney last night and Hollywood Studios today. We have been at rope drop the past two days which means we pretty much got to do everything we wanted. DHS was VERY crowded today, though. It's funny; we were saying last night how it didn't really feel like there were Spring Break crowds. Well, they were there today. We are having a fantastic time. I would be happy to answer any questions, etc.
We're headed back to MK tonight. It are open til 1.
