Ahh hey guys!
I had my interview with Dina on Aug 28th! then faxed my info out to them about 20mins after the interview. I didnt know that we also had to mail the stuff out also till that Sunday (the day before labor day), but as soon as i found this out i mailed it in using regular us mail. It took about a week to get the email confirmation about my faxed info being in..so I am guessing it will take about a week for my mail confirmation too!

Does any one know how long it takes the post office to get into the swing of things after a holiday? I would sure like to know how long it should take for my info to be in someone's hands! lol

They most likely already have your mail information and they just haven't gotten around to sending you an email confirmation yet. That happened with my fax. It's a busy time for them right now and they're sorting through all the applications as fast as they can. You'll probably be getting an acceptance packet in the next week and a half!

I was wondering what exactly Recreation entails, the description was a little vague XD The vacation planning sounds really cool actually. I applied for these:

1. Attractions
2. Full Food and Beverage
3. Merchandise

I really want to work at the Haunted Mansion or the Great Movie Ride XD Then my life would be pretty much complete

Ha ive been thinking about it and i wouldn't mind working in the land in epcot!
The Land has it all.... soarin', living with the land (MY FAVE....i am a dweeb i know) AND that crazy lion king environmental movie deal!

Like i would like to do atractions for living with the land just beacuse i would be so into it and excited about it (oh well to late now..maybe i could get training in that when i got down there lol) ....or soarin'.... last time we went there my friend and i just about fell in love with a cm who worked at soarin' lol.

The great movie ride would also be awesome.... when i went on it last i had never seen a majority of those movies. (alien, indiana jones, singin' in the rain, ect) but now that i have it would be like 8000x cooler!

I haven't done living with the land yet! Or the Lion King thing. I'm going to when I go in October though! You could extend into spring advantage and try a different role if you want to work attractions. I'm planning on changing my role when I extend into fall. Film is my thing so i'm all over the Great Movie Ride XD I always idolized the people that got to work on that ride when I was a kid haha. I've seen all those movies like a hundred times so they don't even need to train me XD

So I tried again this morning and it was still locked out so I called and spoke with the same person to whom I had spoken the first time. I said that it was still locked out and she said that she would request that it be unlocked again. She said I could try back later in the day.

So I just tried and it worked! YAY!!! So I finished it up and it said it submitted successfully.

Ahh relief! Thanks for the support through all of the crazyness this past week guys.

Sorry...I'm no help... Hope the search goes well and you're successful. I picked my roomie off of here, I think. We're still best friends... We had another girl from the boards too, but she decided not to go to registration (literally, she was with us at the hotel and we were leaving to check-in...she decided she just wanted to go home )! We were bummed... We're still good friends too though...

Also had a surrogate roomie from here(I think) who is one of my other BFF's. If he wasn't from here, it was another Disney forum...guess that goes for both of them. Disney forums are great for finding roomies though, imo!

She said she was already homesick No worries...she did what was best for her. Sweet girl--we were very sad she wasn't joining us. We all cried...haha.

Patterson huh? I never thought about that. I don't really know anything about it. Is it about the same size as Chatham? As long as it's quite and there's no drama then I don't care XD I'm assuming that all these places are relatively close to each other so location isn't an issue...

Patterson is a little bit smaller then Chatham apartment-wise. The worst part is that the buses currently don't stop there, and you have to walk to Chatham to catch a bus.

Thankfully i'm bringing my car. I hope I can help my roommates out with rides and such. What are the main differences between Chatham and Patterson?
