Congrats meg! hopefully ill get mine soon since we interviewed the same day. The onle thing that was a little different was that i got my emails a day later than yours (the application recieived and thanks for interviewing). and maybe since we got the same interviewer ill get my first pick too.

i e-mailed juliana today asking if my aplplication had been processed and i got back an email from steve simpy saying "letters were sent out today". thats all it said. so i dunno if he meant mine or everyones or what. i was thinking mine since i asked him specifically about mine but then he answered in the plural form so now im confused. i overanalyze things way too much

but i have renewed hope thanks to meg

Disney monitors everything... They really do keep their reputation in check, and in order to do that, they have to monitor their CMs and potential CMs. It's no different then a lot of companies though, except they strive to keep their standards higher.

If you're hired, you will learn all about the WDC's privacy policies. They will monitor social networking sites, blogs, boards, etc. If they see inappropriate/backstage photos, confidential information, etc., you will be termed--usually with no questions asked. I saw this happen to several CPs. Don't be foolish! Always be cautious because mistakes can cost you a lifetime of career options within the WDC and everything which is a part of it.

Anything you put online has the potential to become public. This has been common knowledge since the internet became mainstream... Just keep that in mind, everyone

It sounds like more and more people are receiving letters, so congratulations to those of you who are in, and for those in limbo: hang on, and forget about BTM--THIS is the wildest ride in the wilderness!

Just wondering - anyone in the NY area receive their letter yet? I interviewed August 25th and they got all my stuff a few days later. I'm so anxious! lol.

Guess what I got today......

A BIG PURPLE ENVELOPE, baby!!!! I got accepted into Attractions for Spring Advantage, exactly what I wanted!!! Woot!!! My mail even came an hour and 15 minutes early today. For the record, I applied on August 29, got my first email on Sept 2 (faxed received), one on Sept 8 (hard copy received), and the final "Thank you for applying" email from Juliana on Sept 18, so it seems like things are speeding up a little bit down there. I'm in Alabama too, so my letter didn't have far to travel. Hope some other folks get good news today!! Good luck!

First, congrats to everyone that has gotten their acceptance letters. I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one who hasn't gotten a reply. I was starting to take it as a bad sign. My recruiter is Juliana. I am thinking about emailing her but I don't want to bug her. I interviewed the Monday before Labor Day but they didn't receive my paperwork till the next Monday or so. I really want to know!

Welcome! It's kind of a mixed crowd, some have gotten their letters while a handful of us are still waiting. I'm not sure if the wait time depends on your recruiter but your location probably has something to do with it too. I'm all the way on the west coast so i'm assuming it will take a little longer. Hang in there! This is a good place to get out the anxiety

The time length for getting letters can very. They say to wait 3-4 weeks before calling recruiting.

HEY GUYS!
I think the universe is messing with me.
I keep seeing disney stuff all over the place...on t-shirts, bags (i saw this one lady who had scrapbook pages of her disney trip laminated in this really hard laminate and put together like a purse... how cute!...not my style but the effort and creativity is marvelous), books! (books lay out at work with random disney themes.. and i got like 5 travel guides from 2002-2004!), some guys cell phone ringers were POTC and star wars, and anything else you can think of.

Or maybe i am just noticing it more because its all i can think about!

wow I knew the presentations at my college were coming up, i've had an alarm set in my phone for a couple weeks, but I just got on (procrastinating stats and electrical engineering homework) and saw the posts about people getting accepted already...

so I went and filled out the application and printed out the roles checklist. I still have to decide if I want to put all my eggs in one basket with either attractions or transportation or go through and check off both and a couple others...

kinda glad iTunes decided to play a bunch of Disney songs in a row on random (of over 1200 songs) to make me think to come on here, I haven't spent time on the dis in months

Well, I'm from NY but go to school in Maryland. I had my interview when I was still at home before school started, and sent my stuff from NY, but I'm waiting to get my letter in Maryland.

Agreed. I was a bit nervous about emailing my recruiter, but realized that the recruiters are HERE to help us! She responded so quickly and gave me the answer I was looking for, and I felt way better after I received her response, so definitely email them if you have any questions/concerns.

Same! I was surprised at how quickly mine got back to me. I thought it would take like 3 or 4 days seeing as she probably gets HUNDREDS of emails per day but she replied within hours!

I had to get down from my loft bed to get the phone. I missed her call, but i could tell that she was walking up to my room to tell me about my chores. So i stood there waiting for her and she comes in WITH A BIG WHITE ENVELOPE THAT CONTAINED MY PURPLE FOLDER!

Thanks! Today's my one month mark I'm hoping to see something in the next two to three weeks. If I get something before my WDW vacation on the 23rd of Oct. i'll be super happy!

I emailed my recruiter last night but I haven't heard from her. Hopefully she will email me today and at least tell me if a decision has been made or not. It is making me very nervous. I SO WANT TO KNOW!!!!!
