I just checked back to some of my old posts. I was wrong, my response took 6 days. I knew on August 31, 2006! It was still over a month for my packet, but at least I knew. I'm so sorry you are all going through this.
Also, Michelle was my recruiter and was nothing but nice and excited every time we spoke. Something is going on down there... It might be out of her control even.
She asked you to call, so until you take the chance to hear her out, you can't say too much. Well, you can say all you want but it might be overreacting just a bit. You don't know what tone she wrote that in. She probably has to wait on answers from others too...background checks, etc. Did you leave contact info in your message to her? If so, that probably explains the name misspelling, or it was just an honest mistake. I'm sure she isn't secretly plotting to do things to make you even more upset...
From the sounds of it, she is being overrun by calls and emails from (rightfully) impatient DISers...

I doubt it was personal.
