SPR 5022 available Oct. 9/04 Western

My inlaws are having to cancel for the October 9/ 2004 western cruise. They had a secret porthole room 5022. I sent an email to DU today so it should become available by tomorrow if anyone wants it.

That's interesting (of sorts). I tried to book 5022 & 5024 (connecting) cabins on board a long time ago. Originally, I was told they were both available, the next day I got a phone call (still on board) that one wasn't available. Consequently (long after we got home) I found out we were upgraded to connecting cat 5's (at cat 10 price!). Hope they don't move me back now. I hope that mentioning this doesn't spoil my luck. Will check my ressie on the DCL site in a few days to make sure.

Hi Surfergirl, sorry the in laws can't go, we had tried to book 5022 or any spr but no luck , have now used all my dvc points on boardwalk so if i'm lucky like CGC33A i'll get an upgrade , i'd be happy to get moved to 5022 or delighted to get cat 5 ! ah who cares i'm going on a cruise YIPEEEEEEEEEE

I had problems booking direct with DCL on their website. After a few weeks they eventually took my booking via emails. I requested a SPR even though I had been told elsewhere none available. They got back to me and said one had become available. I got 5024. I think you owe me a drink for your upgrade.
You can move back if you want and I will have your cat 5

I booked one room on board in February 03. I tried to get the second one (to have the 2 connecting) in September 03. After all of this time looking forward to the 7 day Western, I hope everything goes as planned (that none of my elderly relatives, or young kids get sick etc). I would be very upset if this doesn't come to pass. Wayne, If it all works out, I would be happy to buy you a drink.

We too tried to book connecting SPR for 10/09/04...but they were all taken...this was way back in Oct 03. We did manage to get two connecting 10s on deck 7. We have previously stayed in connecting 10s on deck 2 and loved the rooms but just thought we would try something a little different this time. Hi everyone....I look forward to meeting all of you on the 10/9 DISaster.

I guess i booked really late, i only booked about a month ago so no suprise that no spr were available all i was offered was cat 10 on deck 2 or cat 11 on deck 7, as i hadn't cruised since i was about 5 i asked the DVC who had been on the cruise which she would go for and she recommended deck 7 , so that's what we got, blew the rest of our points on boardwalk
Anyway upgrade fairy if you're listening and granting wishes , mines to have a happy, safe cruise and an upgrade would be a bonus, walt's suite is fine LOL
