Our 1st nite at WDW, I was thinking about attending a Rays game at the Sports Complex. We will have PHP's so that will use up one plus on the tickets. My question, is there good baseball park food there are should we eat at a resort buffet before the game? Has anyone else gone to a game and will it be worth the $(which is not very much)?;) thanks

Honestly, O-Rays tickets are pretty cheap and IMO it is sort of a waste of a plus option. I'd just pay for the tickets outright. They do have ballpark food - hotdogs, nachos, pretzels, peanuts, beer, etc. so you don't need to eat before you go.

When there is an event such as the Ray's game I don't think you can use your option on the plus tickets!! you have to purchase the tickets to the game and this includes admission. i am basing this on what happens when the Atlanta Braves hold spring training at Cracker jack stadium!

I may be wrong but do check!!

All so over at the ball park there is the All Star cafe which you can eat at!!

i agree, pluses will only get u into the big complex, this is a separate ticket event.

but the stadium is really really nice. i was lucky enough to work during the brave's spring traing last year and usher a few games :D

Thanks guys,
I don't know if we will go now or not. We like watching baseball but don't know much about the Rays and how good they are. The extra $ really isn't an issue as long as our plus will get us into the complex. It would be nice to look around abit. I think they are also hosting some other sport event during this time. I just thought it would give us something to do our 1st nite there instead of having to waste a whole day on our PHP.;)
