I was curious to how they are accommodating with transport to alt. resort because it is $300 less during this time frame of our visit. I was going with Movies, but $300 is an upgrade to a better dining plan. Generally counter service is perfectly fine for us, we are not picky. I did one lunch at the Crystal Palace.

It's just two of us and considering the savings vs inconvenience.

They have busses to the other all star resorts and a grab and go area in Sports.

We're staying at Sports in September, I was a little worried about the distance to the other food courts but the All Star resorts seem smaller than Pop Century where we last stayed. I'm sure it would be different with strollers or small kids to have to walk that far but for us it's not too bad. I enjoy seeing the different hotel decorations for each section so I'd end up walking around to see everything at some point anyways, I figure I can just combine it with a trip to get breakfast! We're also going for free dining so we opted for All Stars over Pop to almost save enough to cover our dining upgrade and when my boyfriend saw the sports theming there was no convincing him of Music or Movies even with the food court closed.

Depending on where you are in Sports, it could actually be a shorter walk to Music's food court than to Sports'.

If your plan is to do one table service and the rest counter service, I'm not sure why you would want to upgrade your dining plan. Didn't see it in the OP but you will probably want to add some more table service if you are paying for an upgrade.

I've been on looking for table service, the two must do are unavailable so i will keep the QSP only. I am so frugal wanting to save the $300.00, but I decided to work some overtime and not campus hop. I decided to stay at the Pop, it is a little larger layout so I am hoping I do not regret the decision.

This will be the first trip w/o a rental so I am saving that cost.
