May not be what you would image, but Tuesday Morning was offering a one seater golf cart (like the powerwheels ride on toys) for $99.99. I priced these earlier in the month and they were selling from $240 to $299 for the two seater. I am buying my 3 year old a golf cart for Christmas! How excited will she be to have her very own due to the fact she loves my parents golf cart so much. I can see her now at Ft Wilderness, holding up travel trailers and motorhomes because she has snuck off, hopped into her golf cart, motoring down to the petting zoo (her farm) so she can see the cockpeas (peacocks). Just kidding, I will take the battery out when she is not riding it, but can you picture it, a princess going along the settlement yellow route giving her queenly wave  .

That sounds so cute. I haven't seen these at Tuesday Morning. They must be new? Regardless, sounds like a great deal. :Pinkbounc

All hail the Princess! What a sight that would be!

I guess this is more of a 'toy"? (Coz, its against FT W. rules for anyone under 16 to operate a motorized vehicle there.)

Everyone be extra careful with the little mickey mouse fans! Last week we almost saw a tragedy there with unattened tots/kids literally lying on the roads. :(

Theres alot of problems with over aggressive drivers. They seem to forget this is a pedestrian friendly park with lots of kids around. We had our golf cart and I couldn't believe how many big trucks we seen ZOOMING past the disney buses (while they were in "STOP" traffic mode).

Anyway, everybody with kiddies be especially careful around the campgrounds. With little or no security I don't see these speeders slowing down anytime soon.

duranfan, it is a toy, kind of like the power wheels barbie jeep, but only in the shape of the golf cart. It will only go 2.5 mph so she really can't get away from us because the battery WILL be removed when we get back to the camper. She is only allowed to "drive" it on our loop and she is never out of Gramps' sight long enough to get into any trouble, oh the joys of camping next to grandparents :teeth: . I totally agree with you on the aggressive drivers. Security really needs to crack down on them or they need to realize how dangerously they are driving.

We just left FW this morning (sob) and you are so right about people zooming around. You really have to be diligent with the kids. They're too busy thinking of what they want to do rather than watching for cars & buses.

The little golf cart sounds cute, my nephew would love one. Of course my 11 year old grandaughter drives the real one. She's been driving our kawasaki mule and golf cart for 3 years. She'll be so ready do drive when she hits 16!!!

Do not get caught by a 4 year old looking online to see what this golf cart looks like!

If you do, you will:

call Tuesday Morning to see if they have any (and get laughed at by a sales clerk)
check other places online to find one because she told Santa that's what she wants(!)
get one delivered by etoys
and pray that you can get it picked up from the customizing shop where they have assembled it and been putting pink and purple things on it--butterflies and flowers and who knows what--because we have had an ice and snow storm!

mrsgus, have a great trip to FW!

And Merry Christmas to all!!!

I have the golf cart put together already and guess what! It comes with 3 different "horns" and one of them plays It's a Small World!! How cool is that? Campingcorgi, does your post mean that Lauren and Logan can put theirs together and drag race? I am assuming Lauren is going to end up with one. lol I hope she does because this is one cute cute cute toy. By the way, Toy's R Us sells stuffed cockpeas (peacocks) and I also bought one of those. It will be sitting in the seat on the golf cart on Christmas morning. Life is good for the 3 year old.

Oh, yeah, we'll have drag racers at FW! I hope ours plays Small World, too! It sounds like 3 year olds and 5 year olds (5 yesterday!!) are going to be happy!!

Happy belated birthday to our friend Lauren :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
