Spoonful of Comfort?

Has anyone sent this as a gift? It’s a little pricey. I am thinking of this as a possible sympathy gift to a single person in another state.

Haven’t used it, wanted to send some to my daughter at college because she was sick, went through the whole order, address, credit card, and then saw delivery would take two weeks, no thanks.

Yes, I’ve used it. It’s spendy but the recipients love receiving it! Sent one to a friend who was caring for her mom and the other purchase was for our daughter during police academy.

Someone else posted about this not long ago so I looked into it as a sympathy gift. My friends loved it. I went with a basic gift of the soup, biscuits, and cookies. I checked if anyone had food allergies since I don’t know her fiance and his daughter very well.

I sent it to a friend who had surgery, she loved it. She said the chicken noodle soup was fantastic and her sons loved the cookies.

Coworkers sent it to me when my DH had surgery. We really enjoyed it and so appreciated the gesture.

Is Spoonful Of Comfort a soup ordering place? I've heard of it and from the commercials they send boxes of soup mix and crackers and other things and I think you're supposed to make the soup yourself? What kind of soups does Spoonful Of Comfort have? If they sold beef and barley vegetable soup mix my mom would love it because beef and barley soup is my mother's favorite

I think the soup is prepared. It’s about $100, so definitely not something you’d order if you were in the mood for soup.q

I’ve used it and received it as a gift myself. It’s a wonderful gift and the packaging is really nice. Before you place an order you can use google to search for a promo code. I usually find a promo code for either free shipping or a discount.

Here’s a little update - My friend texted me and said she loved it and it was delicious and she will enjoy leftovers as well. She thought it was a very thoughtful gift.

Late to the party, but I've sent it to family members who were sick, and for sympathy -- all well received. One had a problem with the soup and couldn't open it (they've changed their packaging since then) - customer service was great and immediately sent another box.

I've also received one when my dad passed -- it was great.
