Spooktacular

Who has been? Whats involved?

It is very cool. They have an entire area of the park where kids can trick or treat, get their facepainted, and other very cool halloween activities. There are also some halloween themed shows and at night is the Shamu Rocks show, which is a show that is only performed during spooktackular weekends, summer vacation and spring break. You can also dress in a costume if you choose. I would highly recomend going.

My family is split on this, my wife likes it and I think its lame. So that means we will probably be going again this year :)

Hi guys, I'm new and trying to plan our trip for the 23+24 Oct for Seaworld. I understand there is a "Count" show that starts at 12. Is this wrong? Is this in place of the Elmo and Abby show? we took our 15mo dd last month (our first time) and i was totally overwhelmed (frankly, Disney has ruined me for other parks. everything is so organized)!
Last month, a staff member at SW said to be there early for the show because there is a line. does that mean to be there at 9am to stand in line for the show at 12? will it take that long?:confused3

Yes there is a Sesame street show for Halloween however, the times to the show change each year. The times for this years shows will be posted sometime in late September. As for the line. Since its such a small theater, it would be a good idea to get there early. Certainly not 3 hours early, but plan to get there about an hour before posted show time if you want a front row seat. If you dont mind a seat in the back then somewhere around 45 minutes until posted show time would be a good idea.

We always go to Disney for the Halloween party in September on a weekday and there are no lines anywhere. Thi year we have a Sea World pass and noticed that they are only doing the Halloween events on the weekend. Has anyone been? What are the crowds like on weekends at Sea World or should we just stick with Disney and do SeaWorld during the week when I know it will be empty?
