I know Dh loves this programme I think it starts 12th September so not long now. If only they could bring back Tom Quinn

Yeah me, I'm looking forward to 'Spooks', I think it will be just as good without Tom (although he'll be sorely missed), and at last something decent to watch on a Monday evening

I love the series too. Did series 3 finish on a cliff hangar? I cannot remember now.

I always enjoy a dose of Spooks I wonder if they have had to change any story lines after the London bombings - I seem to remember quite a few episodes last time were concerned with Islamic extremists.

I doubt it, but i expect things to be a little dulled down. Spooks tends to be filmed during the winter period, so when the attacks happened, they would have finished filming and would have finished in post-production, or were about to finish.

This is Monday the 12th's starting programme

The Special, Part I

The team are at Danny's funeral when a bomb explodes amidst a London street market, with a high death count. The terrorists are Shining Dawn, and international group whose members believe they have a divine mission to wipe out human beings in order to save the earth. Shining Dawn's only demand is the release of their leader, till then bombs designed to target maximum casualties will detonate every ten hours in central London.

Part 2 is on the Tuesday.
