Spoodles refurbishment

I just got off the phone with my TA who told me that Spoodles is open for dinner only from May 11 to May 29. No lunch reservations being accepted.

So if this is true, is it worth going for dinner if they are refurbishing during the day?


Edit: TA said she meant breakfast because they don't serve lunch.

Unless something has changed, Spoodles doesn't serve lunch anyway. They serve breakfast, so maybe they aren't doing that during that time period. Dinner there is always one of our favorite meals. I think I would go even if they are refurbing.

I just made a breakfast ADR for May 15th at 7:45am. The CM did not say anything about a refurbishment.

I was doing lunch at a resort back in December. Spoodles was not among my choices or I would have jumped on it.

When I called at my 90 days last Sunday, the CM said that for some reason for Spoodles I had to call exactly 90 days for ADR. I was looking for dinner on 5/13. So I called yesterday, and the CM said that Spoodles will be closed for refurbishment the entire month of May. Now I see people getting ADRs there. I might just have to call back.

Well my TA is still saying no ADRs except for Dinner.

Very odd how there are so many different things being said about ADRs for Spoodles. My 90 day mark was last Sunday. I called and was told by the first CM that her computer would not give her anything for Spoodles and there was no further information. When I called back later to add some breakfast ADRs the second CM told me that she could get me dinner reservations at Spoodles only on May 9 and 10, after that day nothing was coming up for Spoodles at all. I really wish there seemed to be a definite answer. Hubby and I loved it on our honeymoon, but do not want to take a chance that something could get canceled and not get into another location down the line.

Today I read this at allears.net's 2-17 weekly newsletter:


Spoodles at the Boardwalk will have a minor kitchen renovation beginning May 11 through May 29, 2009. The restaurant will be open for a limited breakfast, but dinner will not be served. The Boardwalk Spoodles Pizza window will remain open.

I'm pretty certain we can trust Deb Wills' info.
