Anyone know off hand if and what the DVC discount is at breakfast and is this something we need a PS for?

I'm trying to think of a non character meal we can eat for breakfast on our way out back home. I would like something nice as we'll be without the kids. Several people have suggested this place on the restaurant board. Thoughts?

Thanks!

We did breakfast at Spoodles back in May. It was nice enough. For that time of year, the place was fairly crowded. And, we ate later than many people might when headed to the parks--around 9:30. PS probably wouldn't hurt.

Food was OK. I had a skillet dish called The Italian. Sounded good on the menu, but I wasn't blown away by the finished product.

DW had standard eggs, bacon and toast. No complaints there.

Service was fast and very friendly.

When given the check, I flashed my DVC ID and they immediately applied the discount--I think it was 10%. I think Spoodles' breakfast is one of the newer discounts, and we actually planned on dining there before the discount was announced (or at least before I was aware of it.) So it was a nice little bonus.

We used our discount for B'fast this past June, also for our departure breakfast... Our ressie was for 8:00am on a Sunday. The place was empty.

If you're staying at BWV it's very convenient...nice meal. If you have to drive to get there, the discount would just about cover the valet tip.

We had dinner there, the food was good. We didn't do entrees, but ordered several appetizers. The plan was to do a couple of appetizers and a couple of desserts. We never made it to the dessert. It was fairly crowded with a 15 minute wait. I don't know if it was just that night, but it was LOUD. It was a party of 10-15 people in yellow shirts on the left when you first come in. I think celebrations are great, but they were obnoxiously loud and drunken. Our waiter lost a couple of parties because they just did not want to be in their vicinity.

We have eaten breakfast there many times back in the day when they offered a breakfast buffet, it was my favorite. We had dinner there in November and itwas excellent. Spoodles is noisy, I think the wooden floors are a big part of the problem.

Don't they have a modified breakfast buffet? For around 10 dollars you can eat all you want, but instead the waiter/waitress takes your order and brings the food to you. Your order is cooked fresh.
