I am thinking about going to Spoodles for breakfast one morning before a day at Epcot. Has anyone eaten breakfast there lately, since they did away with the buffet? If so, what did you have and how was it? Was it crowded? Thanks a bunch...

We ate breakfast here for the first time on our trip in August. It was wonderful. I had a great ham & cheese omelet - think my husband had a type of omelet - too. Very good food. We had a wonderful waiter who brought us a dinner menu since we were interested in looking at it. We were so impressed we had dinner there that night! The restaurant was not crowded and we were not rushed.

We also have a priority seating set up for our trip in December!

We've been twice and missed the buffet.

DH and I ate breakfast as Spoodles in August and LOVED it! We walked right in w/o a wait. It wasn't too crowded. DH and I both had the Mediterranean Breakfast Platter which is an all you can eat dish w/ scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, French toast, sausage, bacon, bread pudding, vegetable rotollo and pastries....all for only $10.99 per person!! One of the best deals a WDW, IMO!

You can check out the menuHERE

We have been many times since the got rid of the buffet. We like it better now. The food is hot and fresh. You can still order the all you can eat (for around $10). It comes with eggs, meats, potatoes, bread basket...can't remember what else. A great deal.

My favorite is the breakfast pizza.

Of course, hubby will have a bloody mary and I a mimosa.

Spoodles for breakfast usually isn't crowded, we have always been seated right away. It is usually a little chilly in there though, in the morning.

Enjoy!

The buffet is gone, but the Med Breakfast Platter is all the good stuff from the buffet brought to your table. It is a great deal and good stuff.

We ate there last week and had the all you can eat platter. It was wonderful! I loved the bread pudding, I wish I had room to eat more of it.

The All-You-Can-Eat Mediterranean Breakfast Platter is wonderful!! It's served family style, and there is so much food the first time, you won't be able to fit in seconds! LOL!

We're definitely going to try it next week while we're there. One question, what is the vegetable rotollo?

Thanks! :)

Vegetable rotollo is grilled vegetables rolled up in a flour tortilla- like shell. I didn't really care for it, and I'm usually a veggie lover. I just thought the grilling gave it a weird taste.
