Faraday is the son of Widmore & Eloise. Faraday arrives back to the island by sub. He tries to get Chang to evacuate the island by telling him the truth about the island and Miles. He ventures into the Other's camp to talk to his mother who shoots and kills him prior to talking to him.

Eloise is not portrayed as a villain because she doesn't know (at the time she kills Faraday) he's her son. She learns of his plans through Jack and Kate, and tries to see them through with the help of Richard.

WHOA!!! Although I'm not surprised, I just didn't think it would happen quite that way.

Anyway.....back to the photos on that link beattyfamily posted: Did you see the blood on Penny's shirt? And it looks Penny and Eloise are in a hospital. I wonder if Ben somehow managed to hurt Desmond?? I really don't think Desmod is dead.

and you're right, Penny does look a lot like Eloise. Maybe Penny is her daughter with Widmore, and Penny and Daniel are brother and sister!

Well, last night's show was kind of a let-down, for me at least. While it was nice to have a re-cap to refresh my memory and to have all the events shown in chronological order instead of flashbacks and flashforwards, there wasn't anything new at all. I was kind of hoping they'd throw in some new little tidbit to tease us.

And I just realized that there are only THREE more weeks of Lost!

Does anyone know if next season will be the same as this one, where Lost won't come on until January? Just trying to prepare myself for "Lost withdrawal".

Yeah, I was hoping for subtitle tidbits from the producers that we didn't already know about.

It was a good refresher though.

Oh wait!! During the recap episode, didn't they specifically say that Widmore was the one who planted the fake airplane on the bottom of the ocean? Or did I hear that wrong?

I know last week we were speculating about the dead guy that Naomi took Miles to in the restaurant - Miles said he was taking receipts and photos of empty graves to Widmore when he was killed. But it was never clear whether he was taking evidence to Widmore that BEN faked the crash, or that he was delivering receipts after completing the job for Widmore.

Thanks for the spoiler! But if that does happen.......won't that effect the future? If someone is killed in 1974, they can't grow up. And he did a lot to affect what's going on now.......

They confirmed it was Witmore who staged the fake airplane!

But they are already grown up. That person's younger self is still alive and will grow to that age, the age at their death.

It isn't the 1977 VERSION of the person being killed...it is the 2008 version who is visiting 1977 again that is being killed. So nothing in the past is changed.

Yes, it will be just like this one starting in mid-January running for 16 weeks or so (17 hours of shows I believe) and ending in mid-May...forever!

Ok, so if it's NOT their destiny to be back on 1977, then maybe, just MAYBE, whatever they do CAN change the past! (Yes, those of you who've tried and tried and tried to explain to me the whole "whatever happened, happened" thing.....I'm still not totally convinced)

And did Eloise make a mistake, or did she deliberately send them back to 1977 for a reason? Hmmmm..........

I saw Matthew Fox on "Regis and Kelly". I'm guessing it was the same clip.

I was suprised that Daniel was saying it wasn't Jack's destiny to come back to the island and I was also surprised by his reaction to Jack saying it was Daniel's mother who told him that. He seemed to imply his mother was lying. He seemed annoyed with his mother.

On "Regis and Kelly" Matthew Fox was implying that he was 'dying' a slow death being away from the island so he needed to go back. I think that was in answer to when Regis asked him why in the world he'd go back to the island.

Can't wait for tonight. I think it's going to be a good, memorable show.

They aren't pushing back the shows according to my DVR. As long as Obama is finished by 9pm (and he better be) then Lost will still start at 9pm EST.
