I haven't seen it yet but I couldn't help but know. I'm a little bummed Sasha didn't get gold but at least with silver I know that she didn't choke this time and silver is still something to be VERY proud of!

I am glad Sasha medaled but the long program has always been her downfall. I am happy that the two kiddies did so well, looks good for 2010!

I am kinda glad the Japanese girl won. They said it was that countries first ever gold (or only??) medal in this sport and also Japan's first and only medal in this Olympics.. She earned it, she skated a great program.

It is a bummer that Cohen didn't get the gold. I fear she will have Michelle Kwan syndrome about what could have been. We shall see in four years, and I will avoid the CB then!

Well, from what I heard on the broadcast, she absolutely did choke. Sasha is not new to the Silver medal....she could have easily won gold tonight since that Slutskaya choked as well.

What was Sasha's result in the 2002 Olympics? I read in the Atlanta newspaper today that her coach has never had a skater get an Olympic medal.

She was third after short program and finished fourth after falling in the free skate.

Sasha fell twice on the first two jumps today but did a solid program after that. Irina only fell once but she missed jumps all thru her program.
