Is anyone else watching this brat? I cannot believe what I am seeing. She actually talked about being happy looking at herself!

I know gobs of 16 yo who would be thrilled to get a used car ... they'd be thrilled to get an old rusted, busted clunker and not pitch a fit!!!!! I know some adults who'd also be thrilled to get a clunker, too! They'd be thrilled w/anything that (a) passed inspection and (b) transported them from point A to point B.
That little beotch looked at used cars and grumped and groaned and said they were all ugly, etc. Unfortunately, Grandma surprised Sophie w/a brand new SUV. If I were Grandma, I would have told Sophie "too damn bad - you're not getting a car for that behavior!"
Is it just me or do these kids seem to throw these parties to be popular? I remember watching one show and some kids were saying "We don't even know who X is but she throws a kick butt party". The girl even said that she wanted the party to become popular. So, here she is, having this big bash and the kids still don't know who she is?!!? What is up w/that!?
And, did anyone see the girl who moved to Cali. and was having her bash? She invited her friends from podunk and they showed up and were normal compared to the other kids. Then, they all ridiculed the podunk girl b/c she bought her jewelry at Target. Then, they showed a richy classmate buying a gift for the party and he bought her a CD. The girl's parents are shelling out mega-bucks for this party and you're giving her a $18 CD?
I question who needs a kick in the pants more ... the parents or the kids!?

I absolutely cannot believe some parents. Even if I had that kind of money (truly glad I don't BTW) I would NEVER spoil my kids like that!

I cannot stress the importance of raising children with strong moral and financial values. These parents aren't teaching their kids anything except a complete lack of respect and abhorrent values.
I grew up poor (I mean REALLY poor) and gained so much from it. Sure, more money would be nice, but the solid family I have is worth more than ANY amount of money could buy.
