Splt stay and DDP

I am considering splitting my stay for my next trip (3VWL/3BWV). I will have APs and my friends that are staying with us will have hoppers. How does the split stay work with the DDP and DVC with APs and with hoppers? We split our stay last year and had the DDP. We had to buy a 7 day hopper and then a one day pass when we moved over to the second resort. This vaca was non-DVC. Would it work the same way as DVC member? Thanks for the help!

Assuming you are staying on DVC points, there is no park ticket requirement to buy the DDP, so it does not matter what type of ticket, or where you purchase them.

You would have 3 nights of DDP on VWL room keys and 3 nights on BWV room keys, and you would pay for the plan when you check into each resort. You must tell MS to link the DDP to each of your room reservations, and everyone in the room must have the DDP for the length (number of nights) of the room reservation.

Don't forget the credits from the first three night stay will expire at midnight of the day you check out of your first DVC resort. The other credits will start as soon as you check in.

You may already know this, but all registered guests in your party will need to purchase the meal plan for both length of stays. Also, the credits will be pooled onto your room key cards. Bon Apetit!
