Any experience with how crowded Splittsville is on a Saturday evening around 6:00? We are considering this for an off night but we will have 10 people and will need two lanes.

IIRC, we went on a Sunday night back in November, and it wasn't very crowded at all. We could have walked in and gotten a lane. However, it was worth it for my peace of mind to pay a little more for the reservation and KNOW we would get a lane despite the crowd level. It's a great place. Y'all will have a blast!

Isn't it an extra $10 per person to reserve? That's going to cost OP $100.

I called about reserving. They said.......Any advance set up is $150/hr/lane.... We would need two lanes. It's a big difference!!

We ate there this past February on a Saturday night. (Feb 25th to be exact) We got there around 5:30 and could have gotten 2 lanes side by side no problem. Little more crowded when we were leaving around 7 pm, but still several open lanes.

From personal experience, I would recommend not doing a reservation. Going there on Friday and Saturday nights I have never seen it full. Many times people go there to eat, but many of them decide not to bowl.

Whoa! That's not what I paid for sure. I think we DID pay the $10 pp fee - but we were only 5. It actually ended up being not that much more than our local bowling lanes.
