Has anyone done this before? I called for Le Cellier for a party of 4. The CM told me I could make 2 ADRs for parties of 2 for that date, but there was nothing available for a single party of 4. Do they really seat you separately or do they normally accomadate your party? Just wondering if anyone has done this before.....I figure if I had a large party we'd definitely be split, but since it's just 4 of us I was curious how this works.

If you make 2 ADRs for 2, you need to be prepared to be split up, although I am sure they will try to seat you together, if at all possible.

I had a large group a couple years ago I was making plans for. At one place, I would make ADRs for 12 and their would split us up into 2 or 3 tables and then at other places, I would make ADRs for 8 and 4 and they would put us all at one table. It just depends on what is available when you are actually there.

I have done this many times, for myself or clients and never once have we been seperated. It could happen though, so prepare for that. I would show up a little early and tell them you are willing to wait to have a table together.

I am glad you asked . The same thing just happened to me. I was booking for 6 and had to go with a table for 4 and another for 2. I may try again to see if I can get us together - even though I wouldn't really mind if my husband and I could sit at the 2 while my parents and the kids were at the 4. I just read on another thread that they only hold so many tables for 180+10. I was 184 days out from my adr date (180 from arrival) when I called.

I did this too for our family of 5,2 and 3, I hope we are together. It is my youngest birthday.

We just got back Sunday from 8 nights in WDW.

We were a group of 8 & I had a dinner ADR (and one breakfast) for every night. At LTT & one other place (I can't remember) my ADRs had to go as "2 tables of 4". I had been nervous that we wouldn't be together.

Well, we were seated together every night.
At LTT, we even got the best table in the place...a nice big round table in the middle. I love the round tables because then we can all SEE each other & talk. We also got a table like that at CM, 1900 Park Fare, WCC, & CP. We were so lucky!!!

I did this for our ADR's at CP and was assured that we were still considered a party of four and would have no problems sitting at one table or pushing two smaller tables together. Like you, I am getting nervous about being split up. I may also call back and try to get a table for four just to make myself feel better.
