We will be going to WDW for 7 nights in July. My DH and his 16 yo son want to go to US/IOA for 2 days. I will be visiting the MK with my 75 yo mother during those days. I was thinking and wondering if it would make better sense for them to actually stay on site at RPR for 2 nights so they can get FOTL. We are getting 2 rooms during this trip anyway with hubby and son in one and my mother and myself in another. We currently have ressies at the BC.
This is just a family vacation, so the lost nights without my hubby is no big deal...we are going on a trip by ourselves within 6 months. I am thinking it will be pretty hot and crowded there in July. I really want them to enjoy their time there, they have never been to universal. Please....any advise would be helpfull. We will be driving so, DH will have the car. I will not need the car.

You could actually just do one night at RPR if possible, they would get 2 days FOTL out of it, day of check in and day of check out. It would definitely be a huge benefit for them to be able to avoid the crowds.

Being able to walk back to the hotel and take a rest in the middle of the day, especially if its really hot out is also a great benefit.

Have a great trip!
