Splitting trip between CBR and Poly - any tips on how to do parks?

We are staying 4 nights at CBR and 4 nights at the Poly. I wanted to know how others plan their days at the parks. We did split once before (but they were both monorail resorts so it didn't affect distance to parks), so I am familiar with packing and checking in again.

So, my thinking was that we would visit the parks closest to CBR while we are there: definitely MGM, we'll go to Seaworld one day and a trip to Epcot and I have to go to MK.

While we are at the Poly, we'll go to MK (every day - I love that place), Typhoon Lagoon, Epcot and AK. (we usually do 2 parks a day).

your plan sounds good. It is still easy to take a mid-day break while staying at off the monorail resorts. We do it all the time.

Your plan sounds good - I just returned a week ago, and we split 3 times in 9 nights. It worked out pretty well, I used 2 big suitcases, and tried to never unpack anything from the second case until the end of the trip. We did the same as you - we stayed at BC, and did Epcot and MGM with Typhoon Lagoon, then switched to GF to do the MK and another trip to Epcot. On the day we checked out of GF to go to HRH , we went to the Animal Kingdom, and went over to the AKL to see it. This worked out pretty well, and left the last two days for US and IOA.
